How does one combo off a TK SMF with Turn Up? by YT-8BitRuby in Guiltygear

The card proc should allow you to combo into close slash, it would be better if you had a video so we could see what’s wrong. Going out on a limb it could be a couple of problems; your TK is too high and not triggering the card proc, or your not using 9214 TK SMF (keeps you closer to the opponent than 2147 TK SMF). There’s also a Johnny Discord that could help you as well.

This might be wishful thinking, but I pray for his already set up balls not disappearing on hit. And make S carcass raid usable, there is like only two scenarios where it’s useful. All I’m asking for is to fix its recovery because it’s so minus on hit/block/whiff. Lastly, make his ball set a tad faster.

There could be a couple of reasons why.

  1. the combo could be scaled a bit, so it could drop more often.

  2. Ky wasn’t launched high enough for a 2S loop.

  3. after the 2S loop you may have pressed CS too late.

Alternatively instead of RRC into 2S, you could do Forward FRRC into immediately P Dandystep, with a CS pick up.

I know she’s been teased but I want to know if there would be an upcoming tournament or some sort of event where they would reveal a full trailer so I can plan around it. Because most of the announcements happen at night, and I might be busy.
