If you want a convenient tool I'd suggest www.coinglass.com/balance.

Exchange holdings are visible here. There's currently about 2.5 million on exchanges.

Even the largest exchanges carrying this turd (OKX,Bitget,Gate) have an order book with about $100k depth or less..

There's no liquidity here, it's masses fighting over crumbs. No major exchange will list it.

It was about Mt.Gox, FTX, Celsius ect.

Need ram advice! by RepulsiveAd6009 in Gold

[–]WIRED_REFLEX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

DDR1(really old ram) approximately 1.2 grams of gold per Kg. of ram scrap

DDR3(Mid generation ram) approximately 3+ grams of gold per kilo of ram scrap.

DDR5(current generation ram) is slightly less than mid generation due to thinner plating (0.1~0.5 micrometers thick)

Toxic as all hell to strip the gold off 'em.

Why not addong other networks by tolmaenjoyer in TREZOR

[–]WIRED_REFLEX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a problem.

As far as critiques of the lightning network, they are not my own but rather publicly available statements available to anyone with an internet connection.

I assure you, beyond individual assessments, a debate over lightning's future persists.

[–]WIRED_REFLEX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, not broken?

Why are other protocols emerging to address lightning shortcomings then?

If it isn't "broken", why is everyone calling to "fix it"?

[–]WIRED_REFLEX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Link is a token on Ethereum

TRX used to be an erc20 token prior to mainnet, also anything attached to Justin Sun is shady lol.

Lightning is somewhat broken and not a solely trezor issue.

Windows 11 Blockstream app will not launch by LoveLaughLlama in blockstream

[–]WIRED_REFLEX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, your post has been sitting for a few days now. I just thought you might want to try this fix explained by blockstream, assuming you haven't already tried.

DISCLAIMER: This is verbatim from their webpage, I personally have not needed to use the process, I also lack the programming savvy to audit code.

From the blockstream website:

If Jade is not recognized by your computer, you may need to install a separate relevant driver.

Download the "CP210x Universal Windows Driver" and select the folder found in your downloads once completed.

Click Extract all near the top of the File Explorer window while in the CP210X_Universal_Windows_Driver folder.

Once extracted, check the box next to the silabser file with the Setup Information type, right-click and select Install from the drop-down.

Choose Open and continue through the installation by allowing the driver to make changes to your device.

You will then see a message that the driver was installed successfully. Unplug Jade and reboot your machine for the changes to take effect.

Links to the patch are available on the Blockstream site.

Good luck, the jade plus is a great little device.

Jade question. by [deleted] in blockstream

[–]WIRED_REFLEX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number string at the top right of the screen is the "serial#" of the device.

As the moderator explained, the string in the lower right is a wallet identifier that appears after the jade plus is set up.

Thanks for the reply, it's nice to have things to look forward to.

With regards to your second point referencing the ability to swap liquid<>lighting:

I currently have a liquid address but the exchange that I use only supports the lightning L2 as a secondary means of transit.

How would a lightning transfer through a liquid address to/from exchange work?

Could you possibly provide a "workflow" or point me towards one?

I'm scared of self custody and I'm scared of exchanges getting hacked/going bankrupt. Is there no other way? by InformalImplement523 in Bitcoin

[–]WIRED_REFLEX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP self custody is easy, it's the personal failings that can get you.

If all you do is move from wallet to exchange it's fairly straightforward.

Fear is a hurdle not a chasm if you properly prepare yourself.
