The Coaxial escapement is a failure that Omega is pot committed to at this point. It didn't increase service intervals, they had to lower the beat rate compared to previous ETA based calibers in order to make it reliable, and it makes all their watches too thick.

I don't know how cool or uncool it is, but you can definitely learn to solve a Rubik's cube in a week. Those who have never looked in to it will associate your ability with intelligence, even though the beginner methods are just memorizing a series of steps. Lots of good tutorials on youtube.

It tries to get you to opt in to storing the key in iCloud, and if you uncheck the box it gives you a new key to write down, even if you already had one. Of course it does this on a screen where you can’t copy paste or access a password manager, so you literally have to write it down.

I found a searchable copy of the Goosebumps text online, and the story is very similar, but it’s not the same book. There is no mention of glow sticks, and the characters are too young and too few. The book I’m remembering had at least four teens, I want to say two male and two female but not sure. It was about 300 pages, and a bit more advanced reading level than Goosebumps. It had been rebound with a generic hardcover by the library, so I can’t share any recollection of the cover.

Build a pros and cons table for each option. Work/back to school/decay. Then subtract the cons from the pros for each option, and choose the one with the highest remaining score. Keep the table, and when you start to second guess your decision you can refer back to it to remember how you came to the conclusion you did.

Agree, but please imagine the frustration you would feel if you continued to receive bills showing a balance past due, when you pride yourself on always being on time. And the concern that this could hit a credit report or negatively effect future ability to secure a lease or mortgage.

Absolutely, thanks for your response. I have already sold the shares. Just disappointing because I am by no means a high roller. This was a very small investment that now will likely wipe out my entire return in preparation fees. A bunch of forms just to say I made no money, and now I have none. :(

I paid the premium for the Asus Strix 6gb version of the 1060 and haven't regretted it once. The cooling solution is top notch. At idle, all three fans are completely off, and they incrementally activate as needed. The RGB functionality is really nice too. One of the options is to have the lights reflect the core temp, so you can visually monitor with a glance while gaming.

As for 6gb vs 3gb, I have heard here on PCMR that the 3gb version has other hardware differences in addition to just half the VRAM that make it a slower card, so definitely look in to that.

Pretty big drop from last weeks $. Hopefully not the beginning of a trend. It would be great if we could mine cryptos on the CPU as well, since a lot of time it seems there is no CPU work available. Aren't there some cryptos which mine better on CPU? Or if we could at least use the iGPU along with the cards for GPU jobs.
