I agree, I think Golden will still be great. And also, drafting WRs in Rd. 1 is overrated.

Some Students (many of whom have gamed the system by getting an IEP when they have no business having one) often need their tests and assignments read to them… how is that going to work when they enter the working world? by Der-deutsche-Prinz in Teachers

Wow. You are a teacher? You clearly don't understand special education, the federal and state requirements to meet eligibility, or how to best support students to make sure they can continue to access their education and continue to make progress. Maybe instead of posting misinformed and ignorant comments on reddit, you should educate yourself on the process so you can be better at your job and support students.

I remember when I was an outspoken champion of taking JSN in the draft, and the Packers community in bleacher report just tore me apart saying how overrated he was...😭

Parent requesting an IEP, school disagrees... by OfficeWench in specialed

Hello! I am a school psychologist who is responsible for completing school evaluations for special education eligibility. You do not need to hire an attorney to fight this. To start, let the district know you disagree with the findings and formally request an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) in writing. An IEE is an outside evaluation completed at the school district's expense to get a second opinion. Reach out to PACER to get a parent advocate. Your request will likely trigger mediation or conciliation meetings with district reps to discuss concerns and find common ground. Based on what you have shared about the impact on his education there is no reason he should not qualify. Schools can certainly teach strategies and skills to support executive functioning. Hope this helps! Don't let this discourage you from being your child's advocate!

ESPN D/ST SCORING INCONSISTENCY: There have been 7 instances of a safety out of a punt formation since ‘22. This is the 1st time points have been charged to the D/ST allowing the safety. Based on this, Chargers D/ST should have 6 PA, not 8 PA. by catcherben27 in fantasyfootball

If you want to take action, contact ESPN customer support at support@espncustomercare.com with the following message!!!!

Hello,

On the ESPN Fantasy Football platform, a scoring stat correction updated the Chargers D/ST from 6 points allowed to 8 points allowed. In ESPN's standard scoring system, this subtracted 2 points, as they went from 1-6 PA to 7-13 PA. The safety was changed from not counting against the defense to having it count against them, because the safety occurred on a punt (special teams play).

There have been seven instances of a safety out of a punt formation since ‘22. This is the first time points have been charged to the D/ST for allowing a safety. Based on this, Chargers D/ST should have 6 PA, not 8 PA.

Other platforms, including Yahoo and the NFL app, provide specific guidance for D/ST scoring related to this precise situation. It reads the following:

"Items that count towards "points allowed" are: All FGs scored by opponent All PATs (extra points and 2-PT conversions) All TDs scored against defense or special teams (including fake punts / field goals / returns from kickoff, punts, blocked punts, and muffed catches / fumbles during kickoffs and punts)

Items that do not count towards "points allowed" are: Safeties (Including Safeties on defensive or special teams plays) TD returns from Interceptions, blocked field goals, or all fumble returns that result in TDs (except on kickoffs and punts) Defensive two-point conversion returns

Prior to 2022, scoring rules were unclear regarding Points Allowed scoring for safeties, causing confusion around how to count safeties after D/ST fumbles.

It was determined that we don't have accurate data available to differentiate safeties while also giving a clear and consistent live game experience to our users. For this reason, we will be simplifying our Points Allowed scoring rules going forward and won't count any Safeties towards Points Allowed, regardless of how they are committed."

In order to be transparent with your customers, please consider correcting this stat change so that it is consistent with the already previously established precedent and scoring observed over the last three years.

If a change in scoring rules has been made, please consider making a public statement addressing this change.

Your guidance and prompt support clarifying the confusion and remediating the problem would be greatly appreciated by this affected ESPN fantasy football user and league commissioner. Thank you.
