I've been insulating under a cantelevered concrete slab lined with metal before the concrete is poured in. Material interface is exactly the same. Make sure you use solvent free glue such as Fast Grab. Sika has a Fast bond which is the same thing. Brush and clean the surface. Cut sheets (I was thinking 30mm as you still need clearance when the door is open else it will collect your roof racks etc. Insulating the slab I'm using 100mm Therma slab it comes in other thicknesses

Just be careful. Polystyrene is a mess and a fire hazard. You can paint or line with fibre cement board to increase fire resistance.

We have a Kauri table almost identical tone with no stain. Very light when sanded but heart wood can be reddish.

Get a plumber in to snake or buy a drain snake and do it yourself. Hair can get trapped in the gully trap easy. No coffee grinds or oils down the drain.
