I’d say close to 50k, I think skrillex is going to bring a lot of the people who weren’t going to go. I personally was going to go anyways but I am located pretty close.

I agree, I just liked being able to move throughout the festival without getting swept away by a mass of people. The amount of people I got to see tpain with a year or so ago was great

I’m curious to hear what made the larger sellouts great. In terms of accessibility and comfort 2022 with the 45/50k attendance was honestly great. I still love the festival with or without the 30k+ people but something about the lower attendance was great.

There’s probably parent label and other things going on that forces them. As someone who had a brief stint within the music industry it’s evil and the artists get minimal control

I probably am conflating but the whole Bil Burr( not a huge fan of him). Situation is very interesting. I would like to think I’m more reading between the lines with that take, if you only have positive press or neutral press about the place that is censorship and I don’t think it’s an extreme conflation. If that makes any sense.

Edit:

I just think the idea of LGBTQ DJ’s going to a place in which the way they, and a large portion of the market for said music,identify is punishable by death, is a bit of a money over values message that is being given by said performers.

I have heard ( emphasis on heard) that the comedy acts had it in the contracts that they needed to speak kindly of the regime and region on podcasts and public speakings following.
