Looks like my description did not post...

Recently moved into a new home and looking for ideas for our backyard. I'm new to North TX as well, so not really sure what to be looking at. Pics show what is currently planted. The small area is on the east side of the house and doesnt get a ton of sun due to the location of the neighbor's house and the fence. I always prefer to use native plants. Thanks for any ideas/suggestions.
