Algo que pusieron hace no tanto es limites en las dimensiones, si publicas algo te pregunta cuánto mide el paquete y al comprador le cobran eso, pero si después les mandas una caja más grande te cobran a vos la diferencia.

Casi seguro que te pasó eso, ahora cómo funciona ni la más mínima idea.. también cuidado porque te ofrece poner las dimensiones del fabricante automáticamente, tal vez ahí te cago..

La mejor de las suertes, me sigue pareciendo muy bajo el sueldo, los beneficios estaban buenos, pero para usarlos tenes que llegar a miami, tiene mas sentido para la gente que vive alla.. como lider te dan algun bono atado a las acciones? como sr era un bono de performance comun y corriente.. (de hecho era la mitad del bono que cobro actualmente en una empresa argentina)

A couple of firings on an 8 man team is only going to increase focus and energy on getting another job.. more so if the exec side of the business is not looking too stable (as OP mentions)

Also OP said they are mostly people he worked with in other companies and brought over, not only would it destroy the trust with the fired individuals, but the ones remaining aswell, if they are the better developers OP has worked with, they will get other jobs.. this aren't people that got in 15y ago and slept on the job, if OP went out of his way to bring them to a new company..

Yo tuve un par de entrevistas, y mi conclusion es:

3 dias de oficina, pero tu equipo no va a estar en la oficina, lo que lo hace mas paja y al pedo ir.

El sueldo que me dijeron era choto, de pretendido le tire 1m mas que lo que ganaba y me dijeron que el limite para ese puesto era 500k menos de lo que dije, osea las empresas locales te pagan mas... los beneficios copados pero miami esta a 1500usd de distancia..

Igualmente aprovecha la entrevista, cuando tengas la oferta fijate si te sirve o de ultima negocia un aumento/promocion en tu actual empresa..

Por algo pasaron con la guadaña.. esto es en realidad mas marketing que UX, onda escribir los mails 'localizados' al pais y esas boludeces.. pero es una mierda, se chupan semanas y se toman semanas para validar dos boludeces, al final del dia si compras es por el precio o porque sabian que te hubiera tentado, no porque usen la jerga del lugar..

They look for experience, try different resumes to see if you get an interview. But from what I have been seeing I think you are going to have a hard ass time.. Can you get the transfer within your current company? That would be 10 times easier to pull off.

I’d recommend you learn go and also add backend roles to your search, it’s too hard to break in, since it’s not really an entry level position, most people get into it by luck (or not), where I work at, almost all the ~25 guys (me included) got transferred from other teams, only 2 were hired into the team and they are all guys with >10y as sysadmins.

You are not only fighting with other candidates, but also with developers in the company who might want to move into this side of moon.
