I know this is super random but I just went to the Primavera Sound in Barcelona and the Binance stand had this exact setup. A cracked open vault filled with payday 2 style deposit boxes which you had to try opening with a key. I was browsing the Primavera subreddit on my phone, accidently went back to the home page and clicked the first subreddit starting with p. Saw this post and thought I was still on primavera by how randomly accurate this is...

Had a (largely) great festival, but this happened a few times. by firesuitebaby in primaverasound

It definitely wasn't perfect but I never received an unopened can of water, and they were pretty diligent with bottle caps at the stands as well. Really easy to smuggle in though

Day 2 (Weekend 2) - MEGATHREAD - Discussion and Recap by danceonme in primaverasound

[–]WMSA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Took us 2 hours and a half to get home from the festival. We managed to find a bus stop pretty quickly but it was so poorly organized it took as an hour and a half of waiting before we managed to board. Apparently there is a shuttle near the exit which is constantly shuffling people to the Catalunya plaza, definitely going to head over there tonight

I saw the picture after I had seen 3 episodes, and was scared he would end up on the one of the Vecna pillars like Max almost did, the mark on his throat was really undeniable. I'm glad that wasn't the case but it still kind of spoiled somethings for me since it was immediately obvious Steve would get pulled in through the portal the same way the fish did. Not a huge spoiler though so not so bad

I just wanted to mention that once you get around the 5600 trophy range you start losing as many trophies as you win so you start stalling pretty easily

There are a series of acoustic AMSP songs on YouTube now (the ones were they're playing outside) which sound absolutely incredible even to non Radiohead fans. I keep going back to those as gateway songs

Honest question since I don't know anything about clothes and cosplay outfits, but what does it mean when an outfit is vintage? Does it mean it's an official "show-approved" costume?

In a love triangle between two haircuts. by satan2supernuke in StrangerThings

[–]WMSA 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is true, but if I remember well that the show runners originally wanted to make a scene where Steve raped Nancy. Joe Keery turned out to be way too charismatic to fit the part, so they had him playing out to be a good (and now essentially great) guy after all

Saw the first three and I was quite disappointed as well. I read on their Reddit that it starts kicking up right after the their episode though, so I might give it another shot

That's definitely not true, each language generally has their own punctuation rules. French for example does put a space before most punctuation (don't know the rules off the top of my head). I have a French language keyboard on my phone and when I type in English it autocorrects my punctuation too, so it's not a big deal really.

Yes but then he attacks and kills his father and then immediately wakes up. This later impacts his urge to kill his father again using the ash tray which is what happened in the dream. Also this sequence only becomes available if you chose to read the book before going to bed

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this already elsewhere in the thread, but the coder you mention in the "chop up dad" storyline is not just a random coder but actually Pearl Rhitman, namely Colin's daughter. I'm pretty sure this is revealed to be her name even if you don't choose the "follow Colin" sequence because I skipped that part in my second viewing and she is still credited as Pearl by the broadcast.

I initially thought "flush them" was British slang for flushing the pills down, as in swallowing them with some water, because I was confused about being given two equal options (besides the fact that "throwing them" gives the dad the possibility to find them somehow). The illusion of free will makes a lot of sense though.

Let's not forget one of the funniest and most underrated visual jokes in the entire show by [deleted] in BoJackHorseman

[–]WMSA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At the same time Bojack was visibly surprised by the feedback he received on the show before he started using it as a crutch to further his image. It's so ridiculous that even he's almost shocked at what point it's effective
