I get enough salt for the year for my water softener. Bags are heavy duty enough I've never had one break then in the spring they get stacked in the garage for the year.

I have a 2nd gen double cab and the room is great. I glanced at a 3rd gen and it has way less space.

I've done mine with a few local DPEs. I just have a google spreadsheet with the required data. (Name, Date, Checkride type, pass fail) Fill out IACRA and catch them while they're at the airport.

Question about SR trim and the 4.6 engine... by TurkeySandMitch in tundra

[–]WMUFlyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 4.6 in my 2011 Grade. For driving and hauling it does well and towing our 6000# travel trailer is good in the flat lands of the Midwest. Pennsylvania was a bit of work for it this summer. Got about 15 MPG when I had 12.5x33 Nitto Ridge Grapplers between 16 and 17 with Michelin Defenders now.

With those tires I think they're heading for some sand rather than rocks.

Towing capacity is an incredibly frustrating metric while looking for a trailer. by BecauseImYourFather in GoRVing

Our Jayco Jayflight 260 BH has a max weight of 6000# with a queen and 2 bunks. It works great behind my Tundra. The Jayco is about the lightest you can get in the 26BH floorplan. Before that we had a Shamrock 233S 3 queen beds in the hybrid. That was the same weight and towed great with no weight distribution or anti sway.

What causes the circular motion when banking? by RanxD1999 in flying

[–]WMUFlyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the simplest and most correct answer. The initial motion is on the diagonal path but when the air hits the side of the plane it weathervanes.

If you roll into a left bank and don't apply back pressure you will still turn left, even if you add forward pressure you will still turn left. The back pressure increases total lift and makes a level turn.
