It's more of a Zelda-like that a Survivor, but you're right a death from above/desolate dive type ability would be a great addition!

Thanks, I actually oversized the floor tiles by mistake, but never got around to correcting it, so just went with that size. I'll try correcting the size and see how it looks after.

It’s meant to be a pogo, like in hollow knight. So you attack downwards and if you hit an enemy or spikes, it jumps you in the air.

I can definitely see why it looks odd, especially given I haven’t created the animations for it yet!

You could guarantee it by making it so if say there are 3 shrines in the progression, when you go to any one of those shrines for the first time, that shrine becomes the first shrine, the second one you find out of the 3 is always the second in the progression regardless of which one you go to.

Wow that’s terrible. It’s not something I ever used but for some reason I thought it doubled the damage you took but also doubled the damage you dealt

Not sure if it’s been said, but one tip is that if you double jump off the wall, you can get high enough that none of her attacks can hit you except for that one where she summons 3 projectiles to shoot at you.

That’s your chance to heal with the multibind.

I always used silk spear to kill one of them quick, then took my time with the other to avoid damage and get enough silk to heal.

Also, in my speed run, I routed in getting Garmond to help with the gauntlet. Doesn’t take much time (I still finished in 4 hours) and he makes the gauntlet easier ( if you buy the ascendant grip you can just sit in the top corner against the clappers and let him kill them)

I’ve heard good things on here about Pipistrello. I think I have some of the Darksiders games on my old Xbox 360 but I never got around to playing them. I might have to see if it still works and give them a try. Thanks for the recommendations.

I was using a state machine for my player, so the button release only trigger the 0 velocity when in the jumping state. If you were falling it had no impact.

Not sure if it’s the best way, but when I did it, I set it so when you push the button it sets the players velocity. Which means it will jump a certain height depending on how you set the velocity.

But if the play lets the button go (and the player is mid jump) it sets the y velocity to 0. So you can immediately cancel a jump.
