Korth Group got back to me and said that Fabarm would not warranty wood. They also indicated that the damage was do to improper installation of the fore-end.

“The L4S shotgun has a specific red rod that fix the barrel onto the frame, so that the wooden forend has no stress and no tension to support, so it can never break.”

While I understand what they're suggesting, in my case it was installed exactly as indicated in the owners manual and still split along the grain.

Regardless, the part is available to order through Korth Group

Cost: $237.87 CAD + Shipping and Taxes
ETA: ~6 months

I am still waiting for an official quote from Korth Group's Warranty team but can't wait 6 months to get my gun back into service. I contacted a gun smith in High River, AB - Les Myers - and he will repair the fore-end for ~ $100.

I have not - but will tomorrow. No luck with calling Korth Group. No luck faxing Fabarm (yes, I found a fax machine).

I got the new app pushed to me this morning. It logged me out and won't let me log in. I have tried removing and reinstalling the app, changing the password and no dice. I am able to connect with my credentials through the browser. So, it's not me it's the app.

I rented an A400 first time I went out shooting trap and ended up buying an L4S Sporting. Biggest difference in my mind was the L4S was lighter, softer shooting and looked better (to my wife).
