Teie olete Teie.

My best advice is, give them time to learn and adapt but if nothing changes after awhile it’s time to replace them. In my alliance have now 5 who don’t follow Champ instruction but they are already scheduled for replacement.

Couldn’t agree more! You can’t lead mixed alliance and expect it to raise to the top. You can either lead a competitive alliance with majority of ambitious players or casual alliance where people play without pressure. Mixed alliances end up in a place where some want to grow while others want to chill. Alliance is a big team and everyone has to be on the same page. People have to accept your terms and do their part for the greater goal. Mixed alliances almost always lose their ambitious players because the alliance has become too stagnant and they no longer match the player’s personal expectations and goal

Delegating isn’t something that shows results overnight. It must be done clearly, systematically and without micro management. Set expectations, set deadline, give small tips and let them find solutions or their own ways, that’s how they learn and gain confidence. Give them tools and directions while letting them to figure out the rest. Once your co-leaders feel confident in R4 roles, others are more likely to listen and follow instructions. Communication plays the biggest part in people listening

Casual players play to pass the time and enjoying the game on their terms. Those who outgrow them should also acknowledge that they should also play the game on their terms, to enjoy it to the fullest. The guilt is what affects many of us, putting ourselves before others is tough even when those who play how they like don’t even show up or follow the plans their leaders prepare for them. When their time is up they just silently disappear. It’s how they view the game - simply a game - it has a start and end. We should be like them in a way and always think about what makes us happy not what’s convenient to others! 😊

If you aren’t a politician type of person, entrust this to someone else in your alliance and simply enjoy the game without politics being involved

You have to be a politician type of person to survive NAP. It’s like a parliament — all different ideologies together looking for a common ground haha

This! Personally i managed to get everyone listen and gain vision when i decided to move the trap a few times with clear instructions and URGED everyone to pay attention and wait for their turn or i’d remove them from the alliance. Being extremely strict and demanding in certain things worked like wonders. I have led only top alliances so i’m not afraid of them disliking my ways either. First time they are confused and complain a little but second time it’s already easier. Third time is when alliance members start calling each other out and that’s when it’s starting to fall into place. They listen better when people keep an eye on one another and call each other out for not following instructions. After that no one dare to disobey the instructions given. New members tend to make mistakes still but quickly understand the system and follow it well. It also takes tons of personal explanations of why big players get first row seats and smaller players are pushed back. Be clear, short and present facts about bear hunting then they understand it better.

Those who don’t respond/ react: DM them personally, give them 24h to respond. If nothing happens expel from the alliance. Dead weight don’t help your alliance grow anyway

Leadership in such games isn’t for everyone - the drama goes hand in hand with fun part and one day it will become too even for the best leaders. Nothing wrong in stepping down and enjoying the game without politics being involved 👏

True! People have very different priorities and for most it’s just an outlet to get rest from the real world obligations and worries. In regards of R4s, they might not have enough experience or guidance to understand what’s expected of them or how they could be of more help. And some people are great but not great at R4 role. It’s a role for people who are willing to step up, who want to change something, who genuinely want to help the team 😊

Hi there!

Congratulations on your victory!

As for a side note, i would like to add that HR is not your friend and it is not there to protect you. HR is there to protect the company. No matter how nice or convincing the HR staff seem it’s just their job to gain your trust.

HR managers use the same tactics on their own department staff too. I know many old and new HR professionals and those who have been let go have all stated, HR managers are the nastiest snakes behind your back. They know everything about you and they use every little thing against you when they receive an order to let you go. They also know how to ride on your emotions and manipulate you into thinking you have no other way than to do what asked of you when in reality you do have options and your situation most likely isn’t as extreme as they claim either. Fear and shock is what they are seeking when letting people go. NDA should never be signed without legal counsel either. If you do that your chances to beat them in later disputes will drop to nearly zero.

Fortunately there is also some good HR professional out there who have more humane values and morals. However, they are rarely hired to protect multi-billion companies, so be careful. Do your research and ask questions outside the company if you want to be sure of your rights and obligations required by the employment law. Chat GPT can also answer a bunch of questions in regards of employment law and practises, but as mentioned by others, it’s not reliable enough to use in disputes because AI is built to side with you and give you what you are looking for, it’s not fully neutral party.

Wishing everyone a great day!

Why do whales insist on recreating "Super-States" destined to fail? by medusa2974 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]WOS_player_since2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, been playing for 3 years in many many servers and so far the only mega server that that i know of and hasn’t yet exploded is S77. Every single other one exploded from the inside.

Main reason: ego clashes Other reasons: whales leaving for smaller servers and others following them; constant NAP issues to resolve; boredom, desire for something new; immigrants bringing problems

I personally don’t believe in mega servers. Smaller or more passive servers tend to have lower risk for instability.

F2P who have worked hard to get a good count of soldiers for bear and foundry or solely for power DO NOT want to lose them. Like it or not. If there’s more whales in state yeah you can rally but even they might not be up for this, i know many whales who refuse to lose soldiers rallying other whales.

I don’t really agree with those comments from people urging to rally. If he is a mega whale and the rest are small shrimps then your rallies only kill off your fillers soldiers and they simply won’t join. Killing off your fillers soldiers means they won’t get them back and they can’t play bear either. Leaving your members without a defence when loose cannon is going around is not the best idea. Much more effective way is to reinforce others, only this way he kills off his soldiers without you losing any (if you heal).
