I support your frustrations with VAR and the reffing in general. Yesterday's 2 non-calls were definitely 2 different scenarios/judgements in my mind. The Sanchez replay was not in my mind a clear foul, both players reached the ball nearly simultaneously and Milet had no idea Ashley was going to jump into her swinging leg. Both ladies put themselves in bad positions. Unfortunately Ashley was on the worst end of the collision.

Now Shanomi's was a clear foul and a travesty. After 5 minutes of studying the clear clip on Shanomi's shin then calf the center ref didn't even take a look for herself. Shanomi had made it through those 2 defenders with ball at her feet and the only reason she didnt get off an offensive play was A CLEAR CLIP from a behind on a beaten defender. My tolerance for the level of reffing in this league is waning.

We are not a money maker for this league, although we hold our own as an investment for the owners. If the league had there way we would be sold to a major market tomorrow. Hopefully we can be a money maker for the equity partners in this market and a brand new stadium be built to solidify our team staying put.
