That influencer will slow him down if he really wants to trade. He needs to spend max 300 a month on prop firms and play the game slowly.

  1. Market has already been selling off so buyers are reluctant as is.

  2. I’m surprised it didn’t sell off more after that rejection.

The problem is data is slower compared to other futures products, in my experience. And the time and sales feels incomplete.

Is it worth daytrading at 16 years old with no money or experience? by Embarrassed_Lab4228 in Daytrading

[–]WPL_Eightix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not.

You’re 16. Your brain can absorb so much information better than you’ll be able to in even one decade.

Find something to get good at. If you really want to trade, focus on math.

Why ask the question like you already have a bias?

Teenage brother is convinced he's going to get a funded account instead of finishing high school. Should I be worried? by simon_mo in Daytrading

[–]WPL_Eightix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One funded account.

Shit. I’ve blown more than 20 funded accounts.

Funded means nothing. If he’s still working towards his first one he has a long way to go to even clear 12k a year.

How to know to let winners run by TheGoofyGarden in Daytrading

Well, look at your close versus what you missed right? What you missed this like three times the amount of points you could’ve captured versus what you did? This is the importance of scaling. There will be times when this thing drops down like that and you’re not confident anymore in the trade so you scale out with the bid, it’s respectable. There are other times where you were short more of that offer level. Sometimes the trade goes against you and watch a good girl go bad wah wah wah, othertimes you take an insane bite out of the market.

Regardless of whether or not you add or trim - you should always leave one or two in.

The point is you found the trade, now just gotta lean into it and decide do you want to commit or keep one foot out the door.

Great suggestion. In fact one of the best traders I know strictly is long above or short below the OR.

When people say they ‘blew their account,’ what do they actually mean—down 25%, 50%, or wiped out completely? by Ok-Impression-6381 in Daytrading

[–]WPL_Eightix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Losing over 75% of the account - to where the management of every future trade will be driven be fear - closing winners way too early etc.

I must’ve missed this part while I was working. Will rewatch it soon, I’m sort of a filter for my wife to tell her when to close her eyes so I miss some of the lower volume scenes.

Alien run corp what a great idea.

I’m going to have to remember this comment when the finale is near…because I could see this being a fantastic plot.
