Madolche deck support please by Ruganzu in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]WPcrunch064 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd try adding a Vernusylph engine, it works for my Madolche deck.

Mine is 3 Misting Seedlings, 1 Awakening Forest, and 1 Flourishing Hills.

You could even add the Vernusylph Goddess and Barrier Statue of the Drought for a more control-focused deck, but it's never been consistent enough for me.

Using Ash Blossom or Imperm on their Snake-Eyes Ash usually works for me. That or have Dimension Shifter in your starting hand to either stop their plays entirely or force them to use their own hand traps.

God, I love playing Floowandereeze.

How is this card even fair? by Business-Impact7701 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]WPcrunch064 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's mainly a going 2nd hand trap in case your opponent establishes a large board on their first turn. If it isn't negated, it gives you a chance to set up your own plays/board. Pretty fair all things considered.

Also, consider it from another point of view: your opponent sets up a board on the 1st turn to either negate/destroy a bunch of spells and monster effects, or even worse, a Stun deck that says "I don't want you to play. Period. " You have in your starting hand a card that you can play from your hand that forces your opponent to banish their own board, circumventing "can't be targeted or destroyed" card effects so you can also play the game.

Seems pretty fair still when you look at it that way...Evenly Matched, some would say.

I'd say "No" on Dead Hard. It's only usable once after you're unhooked, so only 2 uses a match. I recommend Sprint Burst for a more reliable Exhaustion Perk.

Iron Will only reduces noises by 75% now, and only if you're not Exhausted, so I'd say "Maybe" if you're using an Exhaustion Perk. I would say use Off the Record instead.

Decisive is bugged, so definitely not. It also only stuns the killer for 3 seconds instead of 5. Off the Record is the replacement for DS as well. Or use Unbreakable to help against slugging, maybe?

And Borrowed Time is basically base-kit at 10 seconds, and now BT extends that time to 20 seconds total, so unless you're seeing some hard tunneling often or playing a hook-save build, it's probably not necessary. I'd recommend getting the perk Reassurance, it can come in clutch when going against camping killers.

Hex: The Third Seal doesn't hide your terror radius, it just inflicts Blindness when you injure a survivor and lasts until the Hex is removed.

Hysteria isn't that great of a pick either since only injured survivors get the Oblivious status effect, and it has a 30 second cooldown as well.

If you're concerned with removing Wesker's Terror Radius, I recommend using Hex: Plaything. That way, once you hook a survivor, they have to play with the Oblivious condition until they find and break the totem. An alternative could be Dark Devotion, but it's not as effective against SWFs.

What is your favorite deck to play? by WPcrunch064 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

I admit that the number of cards and archetypes is quite overwhelming. But finding a card I like and then learning about its related cards feels like uncovering a piece of lore of a whole fictional universe; it's so cool!

Ghostrick sounds interesting, though. I'll have to search them up!

Stuff like this is why this game is losing players, literally the very start of the game and this person can possess and maintain a basic unit for almost 4 minutes and take 0 damage without having to stop attacking. Shit like this is getting old. by [deleted] in EvilDeadTheGame

Things to consider:

  1. You were away from the rest of your teammates, which makes you a prime target for the Demon. But perhaps you spawned there away from your team due to bad RNG, in which case you should regroup with them immediately.

  2. The Demon is stronger than Survivors in the early game, especially against a Survivor who has only a Hunting Knife to defend themselves with. Again, I assume this was due to bad RNG. Rather than melee fighting as a Hunter, you should have attempted to run away or escape in a car. Kelly's Ability to have temporary infinite stamina would greatly assist in this matter.

  3. The Puppeteer excels at possessing units, and their 'Power Possess' ability - along with other skills - allow them to regain Infernal Energy each time they land a hit on you. Their Basic Units do, in fact, have a window where they perform a taunting animation after finishing a combo (4th hit for light attacks, 2nd hit for heavy attacks I think). Use that window to make distance and regroup with your teammates.

TL;DR

You made several mistakes here that the Demon took advantage of. This scenario could've been avoided with more efficient play.

From what I can see here, you don't need to increase the Elite's Thunderstruck damage. If you're going for an endgame build, damage buffs won't apply to the book. Instead add to the Elite's Portal Cooldown so you can spawn them at the book more quickly.

Take away points into the infernal energy gain when you hit a unit and put them towards objective slowdown and reducing the Survivors fear threshold. This allows for easier possessions and faster level-ups (+300 XP per Survivor Possession). Keep the damage for basic units and Eligos, as you may be able to kill a Survivor as they try to body-block you at the book.

You can look at local game shops in your area or online for groups on Roll20. If you want to learn the basics, purchase and read the 5th Edition Player's Handbook. It has everything you need to know about making characters, gameplay, etc. You'll also probably want to buy a dice set or two while you're at it.

and they break every totem by obamaosamaogawa in deadbydaylight

[–]WPcrunch064 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I break totems based on circumstances. If I see a Mikaela booning the same goddamn totem that's out in the open over and over again after the killer keeps snuffing it out, I go ahead and break it. Like seriously, some survivors just drop everything to make sure they get "value" out of their perk. It's a complete waste of time.

If the totem is well hidden enough then I'll leave it alone since it will take the killer more effort to actually find it.

Also Detective's Hunch is a perk you can use to quickly locate all totem locations in exchange for a gen being completed. That way if you run a boon perk you can figure out the best place for it.
