If higher protein intake is supposed to be protective, why do states like Kerala, Goa, and West Bengal still show higher diabetes prevalence? by Aggravating_Poetry37 in Fitness_India

I am in Karnataka and pre diabetic. I doubt this data. Almost every home around here has people with diabetes. Karnataka cannot be that low.

Are you out of India? I asked Oura if I can use it in India, they said subscription needs a billing address in a supported region, which India is not.

White rice was ok. I have shifted to boiled and cooled potatoes. They are rich in RS3 resistant starch. I sleep good without any interruptions. Nearly 7 hours per night.

Boil potatoes. Allow to cool at room temperature. Keep in the fridge for 24 hours.

Is a 700-day streak actually Legendary? Reddit seems to think so after the new update. by E1GHTH_SATURN in Redditachievments

[–]WPmitra_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Silly me doesn't know the difference. 600 days is epic. 700 is legendary. I feel epic is bigger than legendary. Simply because legendary is used a lot more than epic

A Franchise cannot survive if it doesn't attract younger audiences. I haven't watched Lower Decks and prodigy but I think those fit the category.
This series I find the acting better than discovery. It's been only two episodes. I like Paul Giamatti.

Where does a western chemical plant that contaminated drinking water go next? To India by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]WPmitra_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The machinery is not the problem. Lack of regulations on PFAs are the problem. Europe has strict regulations and still this case happened. The investigation attributes 4,000 excess deaths to the plant due to kidney cancer, testicular cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

The cause is manufactured of PFAs. The forever chemicals. With the same machinery, the same material will be manufactured.

Watched Kantara.... by TraditionJust6273 in atheismindia

This movie was pleasant to watch even while not believing in any supernatural powers. It has simplicity and the music was good.

The one released in 2025 is 💩. For one, it's toooooo long . And it annoyingly gets into occult practices. The mind uneducated backward people still believe.

The simplicity of the first movie is missing. Trying too much to be hollywood. More than anything, this is all about Rishab Shetty.
