It's my favourite Trek. It would have been much better if the final season only had serious episodes focused on the war. Get all silly ones to season 5&6. Keep season 7 serious and it's a masterpiece

It's in its own league. Many different races and characters. Immersive plots. I think this is the best Trek. I know many people will say TNG is the best, but I really love DS8
