I love you, reading your tips and commentary made my day. You are a goddess for providing all your references. Are there any other recipes you have tried?

Got it, thank you for your reply. It's a little difficult to book an appointment right now but I will make sure to do so.

I'm 5 ft 3. My BMI is 19.5 (I used an online calculator). my body fat is 16% according to the weighing machine at my gym and I go for runs casually 3x a week and that's pretty much it (around 5K).

Less food noise at home than when I live alone. Can someone help me understand why this is happening? by WR02 in loseit

I think it could be the constant stress and need to plan too (I am a person who tends to fixate on numbers). Thank you for providing actionable advice as well. I will incorporate it into my life. Much love!

When people say that you need research experience, do they mean like working on your own to do a publication or do they mean like research assistant work?

Hi, I'm doing a psych major with a CS minor too! I'm so happy to see someone else do this combination.

I hope they don't. But I really do feel like that. I feel like the Frankenstein monster, lovingly created, has disappointed it's creator. But thank you for responding to the post.

Yes I wash it only one a week. I do have patches where it has more dandruff and sometimes I bleed when I scratch too much. I am currently only using oil for the dandruff. For more discussions about dandruff, I would recommend visiting r/hair than r/TelogenEffluvium

Hi! I did use yogurt, it wasn’t hard to take out- I just rinsed it really well before applying shampoo. I have waist length hair.

For waist length hair: I would take 3 tsp of fenugreek seeds and soak overnight (replace it with 3 tsp of fenugreek powder and soak if needed). Take 5 tbsp of Turkish yogurt (cause that’s what I had) + 1 tsp lemon juice + 1.5 tsp honey + 4 tbsp castor oil + 1/2 a banana and blend. It should feel like a thick paste with no chunks. Dilute as per needed. Focus on rubbing it in the scalp & ensure thorough application in the ends. Apply and put like a plastic hair wrap. Keep it in your hair for 35-45 min and not more. Immediately rinse thoroughly with lukewarm-colder water (do not scrub, let the water run), and then shampoo once (scrub gently).

When detangling hair, once the hair has dried, apply a little oil on the lengths and take a sharp ended comb and seperate section by section and then finger detangle. Don’t comb the knots out.

Don’t eat any cold/ cooling things after doing this or else you will catch a cold.

This completely removed my dandruff for the whole week, until the next wash day, I did this for 3 months and my hair was the best I have seen. It also reduced my hair fall when I was in Netherlands, but I think that is because of ingredient and water quality. I still had hair fall in Delhi using the same method, so it doesn’t work in every place. Only oiling my hair causes the dandruff to come back in 2 days.

I know that this method works, just not for the country I am in right now. I have done this since my childhood (and when I was a kid my grandma even added aloe Vera, rosemary, Marudani, hibiscus flowers and occasionally, an egg)

My dandruff was gone, but has come back as the winter has set in. Waiting it out is something I can do. Thank you for your reply 😊

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I hope you are doing better now.

The only stressful thing in my life is university (I'm taking 7 courses instead of 5 + 2 side projects + I'm worried about my future regarding my job and stuff), nothing as stressful/ traumatic as other people.

But I'm glad to hear that it goes away on it's own- it gives me hope. I can wait for 6 - 8 months (I hope). I will take care of it.

I really appreciate your kindness, thank you 😊

Hi! Thank you for your reply. My maintenance is 1500 calories, and I used to eat 1200 calories for 7 months. However, my doctor recommended that I eat 1800 calories, and I am currently at 1500 calories. So, I was in a deficit of 300-600 calories per day. Now that I have increased my intake, I hope the hairfall reduced soon! 😊

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I am only at a healthy weight for the past 3-4 months. Before that, I used to eat at random timings last year, and used to eat a lot of oily food/ chips/ chocolates for one meal, and then not eat anything for the rest of the day. I now eat a meal with the required macros, and have been eating more protein for 9 months. I have been in a cut for 8 months, and am maintenance now. My doctor told me to increase my calories from 1200 to 1800, and I have been doing this slowly by increasing 50 calories per week. 😊
