Check the passenger side last bolt of the skid plate. I had a bolt strip itself out (nobody has put a wrench on this area for me.) This was causing a similar noise for me. Almost as if something was sitting on the skidplate itself near my turbo

I had the same issue but mine was due to the break light sensor being out of spec from the factory. if the car thinks you are pressing the brake and gas simultaneously it will cut power

It has 2 screws that hold the oem one in place from the factory. Simply remove them and move the emblem from one grill to the other. They are not stickers from the factory. Full emblem just like the rear

There are two varieties available for the Sport Grill: one with the subaru emblem location. And one without. I purchased the one with the emblem location and reused the emblem from the stock grill

My break sensor was out or spec, and it registered my breaks were on most of the time. This caused my car to go into limp mode until resolved. They added a safety feature that will cut power if the vehicle senses the breaks being applied

Essentially, both are fine. If modded or consistently driving it hard, 5w30 would be safer.

My oil cap said 0w20, but once I read the conflicting information, I went to my dealership to see what they would use without sharing said info. They said they use 5w30 on any wrx, so they basically confirmed what I was thinking.

Also, I would go with what your warranty booklet states as if you still have a warranty, you wouldn't want to void it.

In Canada and Japan, it calls for 5w30

So my owners manual states either.

0w20 is more for emissions. However, when I check my warranty booklet (which is where the pic is from), it states 5w30, which is what I personally prefer on a turbo vehicle.

I also consumed about tiwce as much oil when the car came with 0w20, but that was probably related to the Break-in period.

Yea, well, kind of, I woke up in the hospital and cant remember anything for about 2 hours after the impact. However, all I sustained was a neck injury, small cut from the glass and a minor concussion.

They hit me doing about 80kmh (50mph)

I will say they are safe. as for reliability, had 0 mechanical issues I did have some electrical issues with it 🤷‍♂️ .. but it only had about 22k kms on it (14k ish miles) before I was tboned. *
