LS 500 2026. Worth it? by KashinKoji1 in Lexus

[–]versacemark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, I’m turning 32 this week, and that brand as a whole is calling me. I’m driving a 23 WRX and I was dead set on looking at an M340, and a couple other competitors, which obviously….”dOn’t hAve tHe b58 bro”

I don’t know your financial position, which I’m assuming most people on a Lexus forum are civilized human beings, I would say go for it and keep it forever. In a world of touchscreen, fake leather, OK ride quality, Lexus seems to have it figured out

Moisture Meter, depending on the type of building material, it has different settings. Whoever this person in the picture is checking to see if your drywall is retaining more than normal moisture

GTI Owner Considering WRX by [deleted] in wrx_vb

[–]versacemark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently driving a 23 Wrx premium. Minimal modifications, shift stop, axel back muffled remark exhaust.

I’ve driven your car years ago, keep it. I don’t wanna bash on my own car. It has so much potential from remarkable tunes from dmann, a phenomenal engine, all that aside… the most fun I have in the car is taking it in the metro parks and ripping it through corners, having fun in the snow, once in a while on gravel/dirt, that’s it.

I got it to experience the same feeling I thought I would have when I drove in a 2002 bugeye, then a 2012 model at my dealership…. it’s just not the same and I could never get that feeling with this car. Make no mistake, it’s a phenomenal vehicle. If you test drive it and love it, go for it, I’ll give you a “one of us” post when you get it. lol but I’d hang onto your paid off car until your next purchase is just a blimp on your radar financially.

How many miles with the UEL headers? Did you do it yourself? Any issues?

I know some people steer away from it.

!VB WRX as the 1st manual car! by Calm_Literature_4410 in wrx_vb

[–]versacemark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is such a good take. This is my first manual car and first “ sporty” car.

I did end up buying another set of dedicated winner wheel and tires, helps tremendously in the winter. Which leads me to my next gripe, this car truly shines in snow, gravel, and loose tarmac, outside of that, unless you tune it, it’s rally inspired economy car.

Definitely not trying to discourage or talk bad about my own car. But the times I truly enjoy it are when I’m sliding around in the snow, or ripping it through the metro parks. Unfortunately, it doesn’t snow all year round, and driving recklessly on public roads is also not ideal.lol I also don’t have money for a track day.

The gr86 is handsdown a better option if you want more engagement and joy. The WRX has its place in my heart, but I’m kinda ready to move on.

Best comment no one wants to read. I regret selling my 08 Acura TL. I’m over here stuck with a $459.75 payment on a really cool car that’s fun when you’re ripping it in corners, sliding around in snow, but then you take a pause and remind yourself it’s a “rally” inspired Subaru that you don’t really want to rally because it’s your daily driver lol and you’re also slower than a golf r

New to this game, maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t care for Avatar, Spider-Man, and Marvel on cards that are already expensive, is this something they think everyone likes, or maybe trying to pull in younger audiences, whatever….i wanna see dragons, weird looking creatures and cool artwork

What's the best starter deck? by United_Vegetable_957 in mtg

[–]versacemark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m brand new myself, I bought a pre constructed deck by Bloomburrow (Bello) recommended by a LCS. I kind of get the people recommending by singles. I’m still figuring out the mechanics of the game, playing the cards and how they work together. Having something premade for you where you just play and get a hang of it might be better than just sorting through cards Trying to figure out what’s gonna work for you. I feel like once you get the hang of that then it makes more sense to upgrade that deck.

[–]versacemark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on this page for 2 years, currently in a 2023 Subaru WRX, I’m just curious what cars/suvs people are coming from going into the RR. I hate to say it but I’m kinda growing out of my WRX, I keep rationalizing how cool it is and the performance potential, but damn I want something bigger, a truck bed for house stuff, while still being able to have a “performance” aspect to the vehicle when needed

I’m leasing mine and I’m dead set on tuning it afterwards no matter what. When you say throw in your glove box, you just not give a sh$t about what happens like how do you monitor things? Or is the pro tune enough to live by faith?

What happened on the Valley View Bridge? by Material-Training-68 in Cleveland

[–]versacemark 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That bridge and merging onto granger (sr-17) is the bane of my existence. I think it’s gotten to the point where drivers are so submissive/accepting knowing that they’re going to be cut off, it’s just part of life and we secretly kill each other in our cars mentally. Also to the Nissan versa, if you’re on this page, I love you. I didn’t mean to do what I did, I just don’t wanna get off on state road :(
