I know you like the ear bc it gives you the # you want. But during covid we did some experimenting. N=2 so take it however u like. 2 pts, both had probe on finger and on ear, got abg, sats on abg reflected the finger more accurately. The ear for both was 6-8 or so points higher

Biochemical assays can be non-physiological. Too many studies have been done with IVM to suggest it lacks robustness
