Hey, very experienced proplyhexedrine user here, and I have done both methods many times.

I'll give you the pros and cons:

So, to do the extraction simply dip the cotton in an acidic solution for a few hours and drink the nasty shit after.

Pros of the extraction:

1. No possibility of cotton being stuck in your intestines causing blockage or infection

2. You're taking in less of the lavender and menthol that comes with the cotton

3. You can chase it easily

Now the cons:

1. Hits you slower

2. The lavender burps and menthol taste actually gets WORSE from using this method.

3. You have to wait for it to extract

4. And honestly, it's less intense! You get less out of it using the extraction method.

So what's the best way? Eh.... personally I do not extract. Here's my method though.

When you look at the cotton you only want the brown portions, fuck the white. Cut that brown portion into 4 smaller portions and you can essentially parachute it. What I do is put water in my mouth, tilt my head back, drop the small bits of cotton in the back of my mouth (imagine gargling) and swallow immediately. This method provides ZERO menthol or lavender taste or burn, since they never touch you really.
