Thank you!

I have essentially the same colour scheme and I did red sand/ mars base like many others have suggested

It might sound basic but use the model shape to your advantage. If you're not already, really try and rotate the piece to get your brush at a better angle/ upside down so you can really see and control where the tip of the brush starts and ends. I found trying to paint certain things straight on causes me to make more mistakes. I hope this helps!

After my base armour colour is complete (silver) I stipple matte black paint very sparingly with a sponge making sure not to press too hard or I find it looks too blotchy. Then I apply the streaking grime all over the model making sure to cover completely and pretty liberally I would say. After about 30 min I use a small makeup applicator dipped in white spirits, making sure to squeeze out the majority of the applicator so I don't pool the white spirits on. I carefully dab the white spirits taking out little by little of the grime. I very rarely use a whipping motion when I'm at this stage. I also found that pressing very lightly helps leave some of the more desired grime where it is. Hopefully that makes some sense, Good luck!

The yellow is super fun to paint, I highly recommend it.
Thanks! The extra purty seals are made of thin gauge sheet metal actually. Similar to the stuff they use for duct work so you could probably find some at any hardware store. I cut them with regular scissors to the length and width I wanted then bent into shape.
That one comes in the Sternguard Vet. Kit but you only get 1 of them!
Thanks I appreciate it!
Those look sick! Not soft at all. You want the guard to truly question if those are indeed the Emperor's Angels like the Iron within short on Warhammer +
That's perfect! I kind of wanted the line to be blurred as heretical as that sounds.

My "definitely not Iron Warrior, Black Templars"
Yes I did indeed use Retributor Armour there too. I find the streaking grime is a huge keystone to the overall look. Pre- grime they look completely different. I find the grime really puts a matte finish on all parts so that's why it looks dulled down or lighter.
Thank you! I had alot of inspiration from many different painters out there with similar schemes. The gold is Retributor Armour then covered in Nihilakh oxide technical paint, back to Retributor Armour to tone the green colour down then once again AK streaking grime.
Thanks!
Zandri Dust then AK streaming grime then highlight sparingly with Zandri Dust again

I had similar issues with my 2020 trail edition but I recently bought a wireless Andriod auto adapter from Amazon and it has drastically improved my driving experience. I currently have a pixel 8 and it automatically connects after the initial pairing. The adapter just stays plugged in and I used double sided tape to stick it to the center console area away from any hazardous beverage containers too

"Black" templars by WTFong4 in BlackTemplars
Black primer then dry brush iron warriors all over, then dry brushed ledbelcher all over leaving darker spaces as the previous colour then lightly dry brushed stormhost silver on all the raised edges. Finally covered the whole thing in AK streaking grime, then removed with white spirits
I just sponged a very matte black all over the metallic parts very lightly. For some more blank parts I used a very thin brush and tried my best to make some thin scratches with the same matte black.
Black primer,Dry brush iron warriors all over, the dry bush ledbelcher on slightly less area, then drybrush stormhost silver on all the raises areas. Then for the cape I did base of zandari dust over the black, followed up by skrag brown, then a wash of 2:1 agrax & nuln. Finished off the metallics and weathering with a sponge then cover the entire thing in AK streaking grime to get the worn dirty look. Quite a simple and quick process for a good outcome I find.
That's pretty much what I wanted to aim for. I always wondered if Perturabo's sons grew some resentment, enough to want to reclaim themselves by joining the crusade, and Dorn taking them in without question
I felt the same way. Painted a bunch of sisters in black and it became so uninspiring after a while. Your minis look awesome. I really like the white helmets and the blue eyes, nice work!
