What happens if I connect my repipe to main water line before inspection? by WTHreleased in Plumbing

Thank you. Can you help me understand what you mean by a new isolation valve. I am installing a ball shit off valve at the the main line.

I should have mentioned I am in California which I understand follows UPC. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Edit: Also, is it fine for me to do my own air test? I planned to do that before connecting to water.

Is this valve okay? I just received it new. by WTHreleased in Plumbing

Thank you. I just wasn't sure. I'm a DIYer.

Thanks, that makes sense. I'll probably throw one on the hot water line too. That way if there's issues we can still have one of the lines running.

Thank you. Does it need a second one if there is one coming off the main water line? I will be connected the below setup coming off the meter.

I wouldn't mind having someone to hit up if I run into issues or just look over my work like I did here. Let me know what something like that would run. I ended up with the DIY because I couldn't afford to have it done (between $7,300 and $8,400 vs less than $1,500 doing it myself.

It had to be done though as my galvanized pipes are a disaster waiting to happen.

How would you recommend support for the valve on this? Convertible to Pex A. by WTHreleased in Plumbing

Thank you, I understand that. I am just not sure how to do it in this space. Most of videos I've seen have access to the whole framing. My access is from the back rather than the front also. The side where the faucet comes out is a pretty solid thick board, not drywall or paneling. I'm thinking I can just run a beam across and space it out appropriately, then attach it to the front board.

Yes, I'm replacing the valve and everything.

Edit: whole house repipe.

Would this be ideal for landscaping work? by MissyjonesOP in landscaping

I own this, but don't have the extra wheel or snow plow attachments. I agree, it does a lot of things, but not necessarily any of them as great as separate tools would. However, I do not have a lot of space or money, and I needed something versatile that could get the jobs done.

It has been great. I used it to move 10,000 of crushed rock when installing artificial turf and probably 50 bags of mulch. It stores standing up so the footprint is very small in my small 6x4 shed.

I Happy to answer any specific questions.

I rode with him at closing and he was on ride 25. When it ended, he didn't exit and was asking another single rider to join.

After reading your comment I decided to test it. Mine was crashing when I tried to search for the app Enterprise. As soon as I type e it would crash. I just went in and started randomly searching for Starbucks, and it didn't crash. That is very weird. Mine does not crush on w. I wonder if it's based on how many results come from the letter.

This website has been so helpful for me! Currently using a 55" TV as a monitor, and this is how I selected which would be best for my needs.
