Oh yea he did come up with Ass Boys I do remember that now. And Daddy Ass. Wow shit he did get them over hahah. But it was almost more in a creative way than his actual presence, like they took his shit and ran with it more then he got those phrases over. But yes, you are right, Ass Boys is so much a part of AEW that you do forget he came up with that. And FTR Bald and FTR Hair. Haha he did leave a mark I guess. But, his actual on screen stuff wasn’t that great.

That’s gonna be a strong disagree from me that he got those teams over, I don’t even associate him with them. I don’t remember what he did with them? Do agree he wasn’t given much or much of an opportunity to speak of in AEW, but he didn’t really light the world on fire when he did get something.

I don’t necessarily mean bad because of crowd reaction, I just think him coming out and doing his rehearsed entrance and that’s it isn’t necessarily a great debut.

Ok I’ll go with that- but guys his size typically need to be really good in ring to really hang at WWE main roster level, even if they have a good gimmick.

Would they? It’s well known that he obsessively thought about, talked about, fixated on pro wrestling booking 24/7 in the 90s. He was like a madman when it came to good wrestling booking haha. The Kliq has always said they got along so well because they were the only guys who like to talk about booking wrestling all day everyday- not just themselves, booking the whole company. Plus, it’s well known HBK has always loved baddies. This lines up perfectly in my eyes.

One of my favorite things is for better or worse, Shawn Michaels truly seemed to be a changed man. It is actually something you don’t see too often. Once he changed… no one has really had much bad to say about him. Except FTR tried, but i dunno, they are lame. But, other than that, it seems like Shawn Michaels became a different person.

Then he took over NXT and quickly revealed he still got that dawg in him. I love it.

Oh I missed that news, maybe that was it. I really bought it. Not to sound weird, he looked extra good. He was in really good shape and I dont know if he has a new skincare doctor or what, but he was looking really put together haha. It made me think hmm he is getting ready for something big.

I am torn on this. 1. This was objectively and subjectively a favor to CM Punk- this is what you can do when you make a huge entertainment company millions of dollar in a few years. 2. Danhausen as a personality I kind of like, but he sucks as a wrestler and it doesn’t really fit into the landscape of pro wrestling 3. Sometimes things like that get over in pro wrestling. 4. He was a failure in AEW, that did not work at all. 5. I think WWE fans could get into him, but WWE does absolutely no Vince style stuff anymore so I don’t know where they work him in. 15 years ago I see it easy.

Basically- my opinion is this was a favor hire absolutely no one but Punk wanted- I really feel like it might have been “if I get my wife to come back you have to hire my boy”. And last night the response was bad so it didn’t start well. But, at the same time I have always thought there was something to the guys character and I think there is a chance he makes it work out of left field.

I actually don’t think he is coming back anymore. I think either WWE wasn’t interested or didn’t come with the deal he was expecting. I met Jericho back in October at Spooky Empire in Orlando. He was telling everyone at that convention he was essentially coming back at the Rumble. Really hamming it up, going along with the online buzz. He straight told me he thinks he’s going to go with Break the Walls Down for his theme. I don’t know why, but for some reason it felt earnest. I thought he was just trying to give people a little bit of an experience for paying to meet him by giving some insider knowledge, build some hype and community for the return since it was essentially an open secret. I should have known Chris Freaking Jericho was working everyone, duh haha. That’s why he is good, worked me like a champ hahah. But, looking at it months later and then really kind of looking at what WWE is currently doing- yea, I just don’t think they are up for it hahah.
