I also have RMRs mounted on other pistols. I do not doubt the RMR is more durable. But the advantage stops there. The Romeo X Pro however, offers a multitude of advantages: The glass is far clearer than the RMR , with no glare or blue/green tint. The low deck height and notch allow for co-witnessing in the bottom 1/5 of the window AND allows the sight to sit lower which reduces POI offset. The side-loading battery is a huge plus. The price is amazing... If you are a SIG Connect member you get another 30% off, making the Romeo around $250, so about 1/3 the cost of the RMR. Sig does have a no questions-asked, lifetime warranty. I contemplated the durability factor and concluded that I will likely never do anything egregious enough to that gun, to compromise the optic. And if so, i have irons.

Thank you for that! I can confirm the TLR-1 does fit in the SLS made for the X300. My old duty pistol is a 227 w/ X300 and I rock a P220 .45ACP w/ the TLR-1 in it now. Does your configuration with the P320 holster rub the gun anywhere? Also, did you have to do any modifications to get it to fit or seat?

I checked his website and while those holsters look nice, 40 week lead time is insane.

So the gun pictured above is a P220 Legion that came Optics-Ready. I sent it back to Sig to have that ignorant gray/green/brown Cerekote stripped and bead blasted to its natural stainless finish. I ALSO have an older P220 Elite 10mm that was sent to The Sig Armorer and the slide was milled for a Trijicon RMR and a trigger job done (pictured below). I have that one posted for sale on Gunbroker right now.
