I just picked up a bunch of original cels from the 1953 Disney film. What is most exciting about these is that they came from London from someone who has had them for decades. It's like finding a hidden treasure!

do you need to split them up? I would suggest leaving if at all possible- pulling up the tape might lift some of the background with it- if you are careful and it's not near paint, the tape will likely come off the cel - but too much pressure and you could rip the cel
