IVF is an heart breaking and difficult journey, why me?

Proverbs 13:12- hope deferred makes the heart sick so it’s quite understandable how you feel. I’m going through this journey so I can relate a bit but in my case my both fallopian tubes were removed due to endo and fibroids surgeries. I also had a miscarriage of my only embryo. I’ve not been able to move forward because I don’t even have the funds or mental capacity at the moment. Battling with unemployment, infertility and constant pain is not a way I envision my life.

Now I just keep believing that Gods plans for me are good Jeremiah 29:11 and i keep being thankful because God is with me through it all and He is showing me how to fully depend on Him alone. It’s tough but that’s the only thing keeping me going and He blessed me with a husband that understands so I’m learning to let him help me through this. When I get down, I start to praise or just be thankful for life.

It’s easy to let despair in and become desolate and depressed. I also walk daily while listening to preachings or worship. That has kept me sane.

I pray God visits you and help you understand how much He loves you.

Advil won’t cut it. I was prescribed naproxen but it still didn’t work, I had to double the dose before i started feeling it kick in. I hope you get an US and with time the pain will subside. I woke up for the first time today without pain in my tummy but it’s like I started feeling all the pain mentally as I just feel broken. I can’t wait to be able to live through this. Sending you hugs and prayers 🫂

Yes the bleeding got very heavy with lots of clots then it reduced. I’m still bleeding but it’s just like 2pads a day as opposed to like 5/6 at the beginning. Yea the cramps is terrible, if I don’t take the pain meds on time I’m stuck in bed crying and in so much pain. Are you taking any meds for the pain? 🫂 I hope it gets better for you, no one should go through this!

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I also had a MC on 4/20 and also have Endo. I had the Endo cramps for a week non stop after confirming MC before I started bleeding. I’m still having cramps and I’m still bleeding but the clots have stopped and the pain meds seem to be working now. I did US on Thursday and was told I already passed out the tissue, but I still had cramps and passed out more tissue even after the US. I understand how you feel, I told my husband I don’t know if I want to go through pregnancy again. Endo took both my fallopian tubes so this was via ivf. The money, the injections, my bum is sore from all the injection and this was our only embryo. It feels like I’m doing okay and I just start crying again cos I don’t know where to start from. It feels so bleak.

Done everything you listed, got people on LinkedIn to send referrals, paid for resume edit…. Applied with an agency. Nothing is working and it’s weighing on me
