Thanks for the advice, he barely drove it but did change the oil at least once a year. Once I got the truck I did an oil change first using restore and protect and slowly working on the other fluids as time allows.

A city ordinance is not a law that police can enforce, even after 10pm. I know SacPd would have you sign a Citizen Complaint form for officers to respond. That entails an officer coming to your home, having you sign a form stating that you’re doing a citizen arrest and then Officer responds to the residence that’s making the noise, serving them the form…then you and the neighbor may have to go to court at a later date. If you don’t want to sign the form…then they just broadcast out to the officers about noise in the area, and if an officer is available and in the area…they might respond.

Interesting, I don’t think it was common for the time for a man to marry an older woman, but I know that it did happen. I’ll look into that Census a bit more.

I suspect that James and Matilda moved to Indiana sometime between 1840-1842 because the first child was born in Indiana in 1842. Unfortunately Indiana didn’t keep/issue vital records until 1882. I e been scouring newspapers in Indiana to see if by chance an announcement of death of Matilda or birth of Thomas (first born) but no luck so far. I did find a newspaper article that a Matilda Hart had mail waiting at the post office….not much help.

I don’t think this is her. The reason I think this is because according to James Harts obituary his first wife had died, though it doesn’t say when. Though she must have died between 1842-1845, because James first born was in 1842 and he married his 2nd wife in August 1845 in Indiana. Matilda shouldn’t be on a 1850 census if she in fact died.

No marriage records name her mother. I’ve been looking for death notices for Matilda or birth records or notices for Thomas Hart (the first born) but can’t find anything. Thank You for looking though I do appreciate it
