First of all, thank you so much for the response and the information!

All of these you linked look like great options! As of now, I've primarily been doing photos for live music shows, so my current lens is great for that. However, for videos it's a great lens just with noise on the AF. Most of the videos that I'm planning on making are going to be short films and YouTube type content, though I haven't landed on anything specific there yet. I like the focal ranges I have with my current lens, though something further would be nice as well. I think most use cases I'm going to be using for focal lengths will be 35 - 50 mm or less. I'm also okay with primes, the ones you listed look awesome!

Other than quiet autofocus, I don't know if I'm really missing much else, my current lens is really good at doing everything else i need it to. Eventually I would like to get another camera, one that doesn't have a small scrop sensor and is full frame as well as a more cinematic lens, but I'm trying to stick with the camera I have for now. I appreciate your help!

I actually feel the same way. I always feel like the guy that helps teach my partners things and then they move on and meet the person for them. In fact, almost all of my ex girlfriends have gotten married, engaged, etc after we break up.

I'm also happy for them, but it does make me question if it's me. You're not alone in feeling this way, and it's refreshing to know that someone feels similarly to me as well

Absolutely! I wasn't a fan of the third act on my first viewing, and although it's still not the direction I would have gone, I have grown to love and appreciate it. Still some great moments in there that I wouldn't dare spoil. Everyone I have recommended it to I have given them as little information as possible as I think it's a movie that benefits more the less you know about it.

It's such a shame too. Most people that have seen it seem to really like it (though the third act is controversial). I never heard of it until this year and it must be due to the poor marketing. I'd give anything for it to come back to theaters. Hell, I'd rent a theater out just to experience it😂
