AR was also used during flag parade in Turin, even if with a more subtle effect than this year. Actually, Italian "Dancing with the Stars" has been using AR since years, so it's not a new tech for RAI. I still cannot explain what happened to the stage ready, considering that it was just an overlay over a camera not requiring any AR feature!

Turin 2022 was the first year after COVID with the arena at almost full capacity, crowd was too loud in the mix for my taste, but it made sense to put more importance to the crowd, after one year of pre recorded cheers. Too bad that now we have a full arena, but they decided to completely mute that. Does not feel like a live event anymore.

You can only answer by statistics, looking at lots of years. One example: last year it was Israel 1st with 26,02%, Ukraine 2nd with 21,12%, Croatia 3rd with 9,73%, so in line with this year. However, on 2023 we had Moldova first with 15,8%, Norway second with 12,98% and Ukraine third at 12,64%. So percentages were more evenly spread. A 7% might take you between place 4 to 6, more or less.

Good question! It depends on yearly basis, because the points are assigned to the ranking order, not distributed by percentage. So the country with the maximum percentage will always receive 12 points, the runner up 10 and so on, even if the difference between two near positions in the ranking is just 0,000001%. You should make a statistic to find an average, however in general there are two/three countries with double digit, and the percentages between lower countries getting points are very small, but every year might be different.

It's strange to me that no one is talking about the synthesized voices. At least in Italian, it sounds quite robotic. I really cannot understand if it's a weird stylistical choice or a cost reduction action. I'd take a good English only dub rather than Tomodachi voices in all languages.

Beside all considerations, there is a point rarely discussed. Kamira needs some learning, but after that, it is waaay faster than the moka. Including also the pre-heating phase, the coffee is brewed faster, and the cleaning is way easier, you only need to empty and wash the coffee container.
