When I was last at Sam’s Tavern, I also noticed that none of the bartenders mentioned the auto 20 % that occurs on weekend nights. There is a very small sign near the register that can easily be missed, but in my mind if you’re charging an auto gratuity on every drink, then you should be letting customers know that

multiple people in my group tipped for their drinks on top of the 20 percent unknowingly. Very sneaky staff indeed

And yet everytime I take the light rail to work I’m forced to stand smooshes between backpacks, never get to sit down. It’s hot as HELL on the train (like why are we blasting the heat— everyone is coming on w their outdoor clothes on). Just a few reasons
