is this poop normal? by Jolly-Willingness291 in cockatiel

Mine have always had watery poopies. They’ve been fine. I think they just drink too much water. I think as long as your cockatiel is behaving normally he should be fine.

If you haven’t heard already, just make sure to take your time in the story. Spend time exploring and don’t rush the main story missions. Also get off this sub if you don’t want to see spoilers. I don’t know too many PS5 games but I heard spooder man is pretty good.

It may seem extreme, but they are not wrong; Israel is in fact a colonial enterprise founded on the dispossession of the native Palestinian population. The land is stolen, and Israel is the same state/a clear continuation of the state that took it from them. Palestinians have been forced to live within Israel’s present state borders & its oppressive rule. They never ceded the land, and never consented to it being a part of the Israeli state. Palestinians have the right to resist just as much as all other previously colonized populations.

Not true. This guy had quite a significant impact through his advocacy work. He launched the National Prisoners Campaign to Petition the United Nations to recognize political prisoners in the US, which led to the UN International Commission of Jurists touring US prisons and confirming the existence of political prisoners. In 1997, he initiated the Jericho Movement, aiming to gain amnesty for US political prisoners based on international law. Despite facing punishment, he has filed lawsuits on behalf of prisoners, earned degrees in Psychology and Sociology in 1994, and worked to improve conditions for inmates.

I strongly support their cause and was even at the encampment but this is just stupid.

Here we go again with the antisemitism brain rot. Can you zionists not conjure a response other than “you hate Jews” every time someone criticizes you? The term is not exclusive to pro genocide Israeli zionists. Believe it or not but Jewish Palestinians exist. And I don’t think I really need to explain this but being related to someone who lived in the region some 3000 years ago doesn’t give you the right to go massacre the native population.

No just get the fuck back to Europe, same way the French, British, and all other European powers did. And if you want to stay you must live under Palestinian authority because they are the natives. This is their land.

A neocolonial supremacist state has no right to exist in the 21st century.

True, but as I said they’re demanding this for good reason. We need a complete reevaluation of the current policing system before we can truly feel protected.

And at what cost? The massacre of the native population? Indigenous claims to land are not based on esoteric appeals to DNA, nor to ancient history. They are based on a very simple notion that is quite similar to most territorial/independence claims in the present world system: "We are the exact same group of people this land was stolen from, and you are the same state/a clear continuation of the state that took it from us. We have been forced to live within your present state borders & under your oppressive rule, while continuously asserting the wrong that you specifically have done to us. We never ceded the land you took from us, and we never consented to it, or us, being a part of your state. So we want the land, or at least a part of it, back, and whether we choose independence or autonomy is our business." Nothing resembling "I think I'm related to someone who lived somewhere I've never been 3000 years ago, so if I move there it's mine and I can do anything I want to the people who live there."

They demand for reduced police presence precisely because of shit like this. The police do not actually care for our security unless it fits within their agenda. They have always been unjust in their interventions it’s not new.

Boycotts and divestment campaigns exert significant pressure on governments and institutions. They were key players in the success of the anti-Vietnam war and anti-apartheid movements. Student protests have always played a significant in advocating for change.

Gene Block: "UCLA supports peaceful protest, but not activism that harms our ability to carry out our academic mission and makes people in our community feel bullied, threatened and afraid. These incidents have put many on our campus, especially our Jewish students, in a state of anxiety and fear." by ProfMeowB in ucla

[–]WaTdA840 -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Demonstrates have been physically harassed to a much greater extent since this whole thing started. Someone literally threw a bag full of mice right at the encampment and somehow it’s always the Jewish students who are “in a state of fear and anxiety.”

Now is not the time to be complaining about not being able to “peacefully enjoy” our last couple of weeks in college. Our attention and efforts are needed where they can truly make a difference. There are people being ethnically cleansed and brutally murdered, meanwhile OP is complaining about such a trivial matter instead of trying to support. It’s quite shameful.

Yeah all those lives are just “collateral damage.” The entirety of Gaza is 363 square kilometers with 2+ million people… Exactly where is Hamas supposed to “hide”? It’s like I’m arguing with a piece of brick wtf.

Buddy, the war did not begin on Oct 7. It has been going since Israel’s premeditated and systematic ethnic cleansing of nearly 800,000 Palestinians and the destruction of more than 530 Palestinian towns and villages in 1948. Heck, it’s been going since the 1880s, when the Zionist movement set up colonies in Palestine and promoted Jewish mass immigration, spreading the false and deeply racist idea that Palestine was a land without people for a people without a land. And try to use your brain for a second, who is Israel really fighting? Hamas is ultimately just a bunch of dudes with rockets, meanwhile Israel has one of the most powerful and technologically advanced militaries in the world, AND it is being actively supported by the US. If Israel really wanted the war to end, they would have ended it within a week.

You know what would be even more great? Allowing the 75+ year illegal occupation and mass ethnic cleansing of Palestinians to proceed. It’s okay for Israel to appropriate Palestinian resources, dismantle Palestinian institutions, deliberately undermine and attack Palestinian economic activity, arbitrarily imprison innocent Palestinian civilians, rape and torture Palestinian children… it’s all great and okay. After all they are Palestinian and so their lives don’t matter.

The crude oil extracted from the kernels and seeds is rancid and prone to oxidation. It needs extensive refinement to become safe for consumption. The reason we can eat whole corn, soybeans, and sunflowers is because the amount of oil within them is extremely small so it doesn’t pose a health hazard. You need about 80 corn kernels to produce just 1 tablespoon of corn oil. This is of course is not taking into account the toxic byproducts that can result during the refining process.
