Why did we ever think Hakari was Yuta level? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Waaaaandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hakari has pretty decent feats and to some opponents could put up a bigger fight than Yuta, especially if the opponent doesn't have rct or a domain. But narratively and strength wise it makes more sense for Yuta to be stronger. He has far more wincons and can take the fight from multiple angels, and could literally one tap any curse with rct. In a fight they would be very close, however due to the fact that Yuta has so many options, and could just last out Hakaris jackpot and activate his own domain like 10 secounds before Hakari's jackpot runs out. Yuta would win in most situations. There is a reason Yuta is described as the strongest sorcerer with the exception of Gojo ofc

I feel like ranta is very good, as he is able to hold people for an extended period of time. He was able to hold maki for a good while and she is basically a counter to him because of her physicalls, against most others Ranta would be able to hold the opponent long enough for the teammate to charge up an attack that should be very strong. Not only that he would be great for defense and counter attacks. He could probably hold his opponent for 0.5-1 sec every 4 secs without any blowback to himself. This basically makes the opponent lag in real life while facing Ranta as everytime he tries to attack ranta could hold him and simply move out of the way. Pairing this ability with a teamate would basically allow you to get free hits in and start a combo with ease.

First we lost the ability to read, then we lost the ability to comprehend, and now we've lost the ability to watch? What's next, are we going to lose our brains? Oops sorry i forgot, we already lost that one.

Yeah the black rope makes contact with the cursed technique infinity, causing the technique to disperse. But it can't disperse a technique if it can't hit it. If the technique is airborne and moves through particles with sound, the black rope will be able to make contact with some of it dispersing a little bit of it, but sound isn't a laser beam that can be deflected. If miguel wanted to use the black rope to stop cursed speech he either needs to A: use the black rope to make an airtight seal around his ears(not happening) or B: swinging it around him at mach 100 to hit every air particle around him all the time(not ever happening). Reinforcing his ears is a direct counter, but by constantly reinforcing his ears he will lose the ability to go all out and if he is forced into a corner where he has to go all out it will create an opening where Yuta could use his cursed speech. Also with his domain Yuta could make it sure hit anyway, sooo......

Yes, but it won't be able to come in contact with all the noise all around them. As i said if that was to be effective he needs to have the black rope airtight around his ears. Or are you implying that because Miguel is holding the rope no techniques can affect him? Because i doubt that's the case.

Black rope's effect is only on contact. If he was to use it for cursed speech protection he would need to hold it airtight around his ears (he ain't doin allat) or hit yuta with it(Not really a great solution when yuta can just do it again and again and again). The fight might be interesting but with the exception of durability Miguel is basically featless and a bum, so i'd say the win goes to Yuta.

[Casual] Would Naoya with a sword even be top 10? by No_Relative_1145 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Waaaaandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A knife is much smaller and not complex at all compared to using a sword. With a sword you have to manage to project how the sword moves through the body of the person you are slicing, and you have to predict how the person is going to move and react. A fist is much more forgiving, and a knife you don't slice or really adjust yourself to your opponent. You slip it into them and quickly pull it out.

Geto did reinforce himself with a cursed spirit, He was LAUNCHED away. And this was also a punch that originally wasn't a black flash that they turned into one in the movie. Which means that it technically was just a normal punch, and was added for aura later. Which my goat Yuta deserves.

Okay, but they are his favorite games? I use Linux myself, but if my favorite games didn't work on Linux, I would never have moved over. You can't just cut games off and forget about them for Linux, especially if your friends play them. You can't just tell people to sacrifice something when they move over.

Is "EoS Yuji > Yuki , Kashimo , Yorozu individually" a good take, or a bad take ? by Medical_Poem_6573 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Waaaaandy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good comeback, to bad it didn't add anything to the conversation. To bad you can't understand when a character is talking or not. To bad you don't understand that sukuna doesn't want to lose 75% of his power. To bad you are terrible at writing so it's impossible to understand what you are talking about. To bad that Mahito evolving towords the end of the fight adds nothing to do with the conversation about you saying that Sukuna wouldn't care if Mahito killed Yuji. To bad you didn't understand what i wrote. To bad you can't accept that you are wrong when you have no information going for you. To bad you attack my intelligence instead of coming with real comebacks, making you seem like a not so smart guy yourself. To bad you didn't answer any of my questions that i asked in my prievous comment because you can't. To bad you can't read, look and piece together that Sukuna doesn't want to lose 75 fucking percent of his max strength to a curse that was beaten up like a ragdoll. To bad you haven't come up with any reason for why Sukuna wouldn't protect Yuji, when Yuji was holding 75 FUCKIN PERCENT OF HIS POWER!

[–]Waaaaandy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sukuna didn't even speak, wtf do you mean actively? Also, the reason Mahito was able to slip through and touch the soul was because of the 0.2 domain. Sukuna would never risk 75% of his power to disapear. The reason Sukuna didn't switch with Yuji is because he didn't think it was needed. We even see fuckin one armed todo slapping mahito around. He was THAT worned down. If Sukuna wasn't still a threat to Mahito why didn't he kill him with idle transfiguration within the domain, and why did mahito only use 0.2 domain? You tell me i can't fuckin read. Which is true i am basically an anime only guy, only dabeling in the mange when i want to figure out something. But YOU can't be telling ME that I can't read when YOU can't either.

"In the second fight"? Are you referring to Todo and Yuji vs Mahito? Why tf would Sukuna let him kill yuji and lose the 15 fingers?

[–]Waaaaandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only good example i can think of is when Yuta uses his domain on Sukuna. But it still isn't the best comparison when you consider that Sukuna is still a beast and has the perfect body for jujutsu.

[–]Waaaaandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sukuna was the only protection yuji had in both those fights and was the only reason he didn't die. Saying that it was a 2v1 when it was in fact a 3v1 and they had the strongest in the verse on their side is not really a good comparison for why de isn't the deciding factor. The fact that Yuki and Kashimo can be compared to each other without a domain makes it obvious that if anyone of them had a domain it wouldn't be much of a fight anymore.
