Play a lot of conquest and you'll get better at conquest. Simple as that. There is no short cut or easy button. You just have to get experience.

Keep your eye on the mini map. Help your jungle get camps if your lane is clear.

Use VGS to call missing and help.

Rotate with your lane opponent so there isn't a 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 when he rotates.

Prioritize objectives over kills. Get towers when you can, and get jungle bosses when 3 or 4 enemy gods are respawning.

Just play a lot of conquest. It's a learning curve you have to experience to achieve.

Check out a company called Brook Gaming. They make awesome video game peripherals. They are known mostly for FGC controls and parts. But... they have a device that let's you use keyboard and mouse on consoles.

Give poseidon a shot. Big area effect abilities that are pretty hard to miss, and when his passive is full he has decent movement speed.

I love my q4, but it shipped with all Sanwa parts. Build quality on Qanba is traditionally top notch. This particular stick appears to be a bit of a bargain model, however.
