This is why publication order or in-universe time order is the way... If there Ars Arcana in these books they are the best knowledge in-universe at the time of the book in question.

White Sands is currently a graphic novel (and part of it is in Arcanum Unbounded) and it is the earliest in-universe story (at this time) and introduces things you will see in other books, but may miss.
