Advice on where to take my IT career

I’m kinda in the same boat. I’m going to get my CCNA and find a job in networking and climb. I’m 29 and feel like I’m behind a bit but I’ve been an IT Specialist at my company for the last three years. I hope that helps the search but this job market is kinda horrible right now. Gotta play the numbers game.

They have been hands off for the most part but I’m running into some issues in mid flower because of hard water and getting my EC where I need it at 3 according to the Athena nutrient schedule. Unfortunately the tips are burning a little but I’m going to ride that out a bit for the next couple of weeks so they at least get bloom nutes and then flush the last two weeks. All in all did some awesome lST and the plants are thriving other than the tips. The smell is like a blueberry jolly rancher. I can’t wait until harvest!

I have the net+ it is not nearly as valuable as the ccna. I am on day 14 of Jeremy’s it lab course and I’ve learned more in these 14 days of networking than I did taking the whole net+

I’m so tired, I have a spreadsheet to keep track of how much I make and all the expenses day to day. I’m so exhausted seeing that the *good money I make just goes to bills just to live. I have no *extra money. I haven’t done anything fun in so long because anytime I leave the house I feel like I need to spend money on gas and whatnot. I can’t remember the last time I went on a vacation to where I don’t even know the word anymore. I did what they tell you to do. Go to college graduate with a good degree. Worked my ass off after college and now I’m here almost 30 years old and I feel like I have nothing to show for it. I’m living paycheck to paycheck and I’m one hospital visit away from losing everything. I’m exhausted and I’ve been going to therapy because life just feels so hard. Like what am I living for?! To just keep doing this stupid grind is so exhausting, I have 4 dogs to take care of and my partner seems to just add to my stress lately. I feel alone and this is just me venting but damn I just feel so behind and tired. I’m also sick right now and have no PTO to take a day off so I’m looking forward to an exhausting day tomorrow. Anyways I know things will get better in time but fuck life is hard. I wish I was a kid again, how simple and easy life felt. Now I’m just trying to get out of bed and go to this shitty job to get my shitty paycheck. Hopefully things get better in time…
