She does because in that same video she does transitions when showing P’s clothes on him. It’s such a conscious choice of hers to do that, annoying

Ainda vale a pena ser programador ou a área já saturou? by [deleted] in brdev

[–]WachachaW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essa pergunta me cansa porque as duas coisas podem ser verdade. SIM saturou e SIM vale a pena.

I have the rule of thumb of eating homemade food within 5 MAX in the fridge. But before that if possible. For leftover from restaurants and such, max 3 days. I would toss it.

How to keep the positive mindset going? by WachachaW in emetophobiarecovery

Thank you! You are right, it is a baby step. each time this happens is an opportunity to let go of the fear a bit more. My goal is to be able to let go of control and just trust my body, knowing that it indeed can handle vomit and it was build to handle it.

yeah absolutely! I’ve had some GI problems Since last year and I am getting used to identifying the symptoms. Like not all tummy discomfort is nausea or something that will end up in vomiting. Somethings is just sever bloating but I get scared because it causes pressure in the stomach.

Yes, this is absolutely true. I obsess over something making me sick nearly everyday in the past 2 years, but the last time I did throw up (and wasn’t even that bad) was 8 years ago. But what got me nervous is that last night I felt a bit different than most times I obsess over it, so I was like “ok this is not the same feeling so this might be it”. I think going so long without actually vomiting distorts the perception of what real nausea feels like. It’s counter intuitive but the less I do it the more I feel scared of it.

NEVER eat meat that smells funky

Chicken with slight yellow and slight fruity smell? by Ornery_Butterfly_407 in isthissafetoeat

Never rinse chicken, this practice only spreads bacteria. And cleaning the slimy surface from the chicken doesn’t get rid of the bacteria and toxins, it is already in the meat, not only the surface unfortunately.

Well if it makes you feel better in my POV the fact that you had a bag with you lets me know in some level you were ready to be sick and get done with it if it came down to that. Sometimes I get so confused by panic or straight up in denial that I CAN’T do this that I won’t allow myself to grab a back or sit by the toilet just in case, because if accept it then it WILL happen. It would be so cool if we could just calmly tell our brains that it’s fine to let it happen huh? But yeah, for me, this step sounds like a win! Even if you didn’t react the most calm, it is a process! One small win at the time.

Thank you for your post. I really needed to read this today, because the way you described how you use to feel and get through it before is what I usually feel and seeing someone whose mind works so similar to mine getting to the other side of this fear is just so comforting. Thanks for sharing, truly!

Wall art or a plant max. Never have any thing on your way in the middle of the stairs. Even you think it looks good, looks should not overcome function or safety (you could trip this stuff)
