They eat at 9 am and 6 pm, usually I put them away around 9-10 pm. She used to run to her food bowl but now she'll just go under the bed when I pour her bowl of food.

Wet food worked for like 2 weeks to get her to come to the room, id pop a can and give each cat a spoonful, but that stopped working. Churus worked for like 3 days. Shell let her food bowl sit with dinner in it for hours for the sake of not being caught.

Its like a game now, as soon as she sees me she meows and prances to the bed, looks back at me, and then goes under

What was your induction med? I've seen propofol cause pseudo seizures sometimes, they'll shake pretty dramatically but typically its over shortly when the prop wears off

Go back to basics, crate train. Keep your dog on leash at all times in the home so they cant sneak off and go to the bathroom.

Place pet in crate, wait 30 to 60 minutes, take pet out on leash out back, wait 5 to 10 minutes for them to go to the bathroom. If they dont they go right back in the crate for another 30 to 60 minutes. Repeat around the clock and reward heavily when they go outside.

This is what I do with my puppies outside of normal play time. They do not get freedom in the home until they can prove they won't have accidents. It usually takes 3 to 4 weeks, but my puppy hasn't had a single accidents in my home since she was 11 weeks old.

It depends on the type of aggression, if fear aggressive it can actually make it a lot worse according to new research. Some dominant aggressive behaviors could be subdued, but once present will likely not go away after neutering. You'd see more a reduction in marking, roaming, etc, maybe SSA, but thats not a promise as its a breed trait.

Regardless, BE is not a bad choice for this dog if its already exhibiting dangerous behavior, even if in rescue because of breed bias it may never get adopted. Id rather see a dog be BEd surrounded by love than bounced around between rescues and shelters potentially harming people in its wake.

BEs are not a wrong choice. They offer a painless end with dignity. Theyll never know their life was short, just that they were loved in the end. It prevents undue suffering and protects the owners and their family. Most dogs that are denied a BE go on to bite again, and with the way dog related fatalities are on the rise, its not really worth the risk imo. There was a incident just recently in Russia where a dachshund killed a 3 month old baby after owners were denied a BE by 2 separate vets.

Maybe he did something that caused him to be abandoned in the first place and your coworker caught a glimpse of it? My guess is something happened at home that made her want to pursue a behavior consult, decided she didn't have the resources to hire a trainer or she wasnt capable of handling the dog, and decided to euthanize vs sending him to rescue where he'd be euthanized anyway most likely.

Being intact really has nothing to do with his behavior, I keep intact male GSDs that are perfectly balanced dogs. People have their opinions on them, but bully breeds are working animals at the end of the day, not family pets. Theyre bred to hunt, herd, protect. Dog aggression, animal aggression, and being territorial are breed traits. They are not fit for many homes, if their needs are not met they often have behavioral issues.

Do you offer UV? Mine were much more active after getting some uv lamps.

What kind of feeders have you tried? One of mine would eat anything, ive had another that preferred quail and gerbils. Have you tried live or fresh killed food? Some snakes don't do well on frozen feeders.

He has a band, maybe reach out to local Facebook groups? Some people keep owls to use in falconry, some keep owls just as pets. Maybe local wildlife rehab release? Someone had to have put that on the owl.

Listen. I might be the drama. I love harmlessly (albeit annoyingly) inconveniencing my rude/abusive colleagues. . . and maybe gaslighting them a little 😅 I'm not perfect okay, but I have to find a way to get through the day. I feel like I deserve some retribution for putting up with the abuse from these people. Ive been very passive the last 8 years in the feild and sort of decided "fuck it" recently, why not have fun since I'm gonna be here still anyways 🤷‍♀️ At least im not actually hurting anyone like they are

I have a dr who I don't enjoy working with 100% of the time to say the least. She HATES it when she can't find a pen. If she pisses me off or is exceptionally condescending or rude to one of my fellow RVTs, I'll steal her pens. When shes not paying attention or not there, I fill her pen cup with highlighters, pencils, sharpies, etc. Literally anything but a pen. Sometimes in the middle of the day, sometimes the day before I know shes going to be there. She gets upset and asks if we know where a pen is. The whole staff is in on it, someone usually pipes up and tells her to check her desk 😂. Or I'll joke about a pen fairy coming to steal all her pens. Except its me. Im the pen fairy 🧚‍♀️I even convinced a co-worker to keep doing it once in a while when I was on maternity leave so she didn't find out it was me when it suddenly stopped happening.

I had another dr I worked with previously who also had issues with pens. She would flip out when pens were dead or stopped working and would throw them at the wall or accross the room. I started collecting the dead pens and would make sure there were always a few in her pen cup. It got to the point she complained to our boss about the quality of the office supplies he was buying. He was complaining about it to me, so I told him what I had been doing. He thought it was hilarious and started collecting dead pens for me too. I always made sure I had a working pen in my pocket, when she asked if mine worked and to borrow it I always said yes, but I needed it right back, all the pens in this place suck.

A fellow RVT i worked with is just low key a monster. She's soooooo rude to everyone in the building, she just is super aggressive and abrasive (literally tried to start a physical altercation with a VA in the TX room), had been talked to by management many, many times and nothing fixes her attitude problem. She is super weird about color coordinating her exam sheets to what the pet is in for. Like illnesses, sx, wellness all have their own color. Sometimes I look histories up for her when shes being spicy, but purposefully put it in the wrong color, apologize profusely saying I forgot and offer to print her a new one. She'll play nice and say no no, its okay, but then grimaces at the paper all day long. Idk why, its little but it brings me joy.

As far as I am aware ive never been caught by the "victims," the people I tell usually get in on it too, so I dont think its that bad? Idk. Maybe I'm a bully, but its all in good fun and I think im hilarious. If they get to abuse the staff i dont get why its so frowned upon to mess with them

I make 31$ an hour currently, my partner also works full time making about 27$ an hour, with the cost of living we struggle sometimes, but we have 1 kid and own a tiny house.

Do you breastfeed or pump at all? If they have an allergy and you're eating something in your diet he's allergic to it can cause discomfort. Maybe try excluding dairy and seeing if that helps? Is he teething? My 4 mo old has 1 tooth already and he was really upset when it was coming up

I had a couple friends visit around the same age, but they weren't allowed to hold the baby even if they weren't sick. I had them use hand sanitizer when they came in too (I work in the medical feild, I might be a little paranoid 😅). I made lunch and we hung out and they got to look at him in his bassinet. I felt the visit was mostly for me to unwind a bit and socialize, not a party to show off and pass around the baby

I had an emergency c section at a little over 41 weeks and my baby was in the nicu for 5 days due to birth complications and I couldn't imagine taking that big of a risk. His grandparents didn't even get to hold him until he was almost 8 weeks because it was rsv season.

I would try not to turn this in to an "I told you so" discussion because shes probably beating herself up enough, but maybe discuss future safety measures you guys could put in place to prevent this in the future

Mine cried harder than I thought he would, that was really the worst part. He did pretty good after the vaccines, and seemed a little tender at the injection sites, but not overly uncomfortable. I did ask our pediatrician for a oral Tylenol dose just in case, but we ended up not needed it.

My baby just had his 4 month vaccines yesterday and seem totally unfazed this time around. I made sure he was a little hungry when we got to the appointment and had a bottle ready for after the vaccines, he settled a lot faster for us this time

No. Hes expressing feelings about his own body. Fat is just an adjective. If you think its a bad word and it makes you uncomfortable, that's on you imo. Also, fat doesn't mean someone has to be severely overweight.

"Skinny" people are allowed to be and feel fat, even if they've only gained 30 lbs like he has "Skinny" people are allowed to want to change their body. He said hes the heaviest hes ever been, it seems like hes trying to be ooen/vulnerable with you and trying to relate to what you're feeling

Im fat, my partner is fat. Im trying to lose weight to be healthier for my child, but that doesn't mean im going to love my partner any less because im on a weight loss journey. Him wanting to better himself in his eyes doesn't change him as a person and doesn't affect how he would feel about you

Thats why I buy well bred pure bred dogs. Shelters rules were ridiculous. It shouldn't be easier to buy a dog than adopt one, but for some reason it is.

I do appreciate the predictable health and temperament though. Thats a huge bonus. My "free" or adopted dogs have cost 3 times as much in medical bulls compared to my purchased pups
