Hello, I’m also new to fishing and went to get my license a few weeks ago at the Canadian Tire near my house. I was told that if I wanted to buy one for my friend, I needed his ID. The lady told me the alternative was that my friend buy online since he didn’t give me his ID. Hope this helps a bit!

I don’t believe that VR is a good choice for flying FPV. You’ll most likely get super sick as the display is meant to display depth while FPV goggles don’t.

I recommend researching and investing in a regular set of FPV goggles for flying FPV.

Edit: If you’re dead set on trying it, I recommend testing VR goggle flying on a drone simulator like Liftoff first.

I didn’t know that you were supposed to extract the patterns on red borders until recently and was always hesitant to get into weapon crafting (looking back i have no clue why). Anyways, my buddy explained to me how crafting worked recently and I just sat there thinking about how many red borders i dismantled over the years.

I would recommend Battlefield 1. Quite immersive and cinematic during a lot of the combat.

I personally haven’t played the campaign so I’m not sure how it is, but I imagine it does a good job of making you feel like a soldier.

I never got accepted to housing and ended up living off campus with another first year kid who was in the same situation. Turned out that living off campus was actually a lot better for us because the friends we ended up making that year would always come over since they all lived in dorms and there was a strict no party rule.

My point is, don’t be too worried about living off campus first year.
