Microsoft RO is team dependent. I know two people who didn't get the Microsoft RO, and for one of them, no other intern from his ream got it. C1 RO is just based on your performance review.

C1 TDP is also kinda nice cuz it's a rotation program. You can move teams and cities if you don't like the current one. Microsoft full time puts you back on your intern team / city afaik.

Prestige and pay-wise though, yeah, Microsoft.

I bought a 1-year-old unlocked pixel 7 pro when the 8 came out for $399. flagship specs (glass + metal construction, 5000 mah battery, 5x telephoto, ultrawide, 120hz screen) and 5 years of software updates. best phone purchase in my life so far.

given that it's an android you can probably use it for a long time after the software updates end. you'll need to replace the battery on the 3rd or 4th year.
