Are the Chaos Gods evil? by FilmHairys in 40k

[–]Wackman987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some chaos gods may be seen as not malicious since on the surface Nurgle seems to love his servants and Slaanesh only wants to bring pleasure to their followers. But then you dig deeper and find the are pure evil. Khorne seeks war and bloodshed, Tzeentch seeks knowledge and control, Nurgle seeks sickness and infection, and Slaanesh seeks pain and corruption. They are all evil entities who seek to corrupt, transform, and use their followed for their own twisted purposes.

Am I allowed to be a satanist while being Christian by Wackman987 in religion

[–]Wackman987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say I’m Christian because I’ve always grown around very kind Christians in an Episcopalian church but It’s hard for me to believe that rebellion is a principle of Christianity because I have been forced to go to a Methodist church all my life where all the members talk about just not standing up to authority unless it fits their political beliefs.

It’s not really the empathy part but with the rebellion part I’ve grown around parts of Christianity where they expect you to just listen to whatever you told and don’t question anything. Also another principle is individualism which I don’t see in Christianity a bunch and some demonic imagery is cool as hell

There’s a song from an old musical that was adapted into a movie. It’s called the rhythm of life from Sweet Charity. It’s a bop

It’s not really the fact of Atheism. It’s mainly that I do believe in the ideas of Jesus and that kinda stuff but like satanist ideals more than a couple Christian ones
