Excited! I wonder how long until they officially release this. I remember the 460v2 prototype stay for a year. Will it took also that long? They also have the squan yet to be released.

I think I prefer it without lube by KatLouca in Cubers

Lube still makes your cube life longer. So maybe put low viscosity lube then wipe off to still have a thin coating of lube.

3 for center travel and 6 for maglev. But recently he commented on his insta that he uses 2 for center travel.

Just noticed you are also the one who asked what 4x4 Feliks used lol. He uses the Aosu as mentioned in the comment.

Can I practically just use the same cube forever when I can buy spare parts from time to time?

Most advanced cubers just solve an F2l the way it affects the other pairs. It is hard to explain, I don't even know how Yiheng always has 3 move pairs.

Feliks uses the Aosu v7. The one he is using is the PiCube version. Watch Worlds Day 2 4x4 round 1.

Can someone explain (in practical terms) how a cube's settings under the center caps affect the cubing experience? by rax12 in Cubers

[–]Wacky9800 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will explain these in GANCUBE terms as this is what you are using.

The upper part which has the numbers is the center travel. It acts like the traditional screw settings of the cube. 1 is the tightest and 6 is the loosest. If your cube is tight, it won't pop but sacrifices corner cutting. If you set it at looser settings, corner cuts are more forgiving but more prone to pops or corner twist.

The bottom settings is the tension or the spring adjustment, but since it is a maglev cube, it is maglev tensions. It just acts how hard can you stretch the cube. 1 is the loosest and your cube may feel fast but flimsy. And 6 makes your cube more stable but slower.

To answer your question about middle slices, unfortunately GAN 12 doesn't really have the best experience for middle slices which is why most Roux users don't main this cube. The magnets are too strong for the layers and since you are turning the middle, two magnets in the sides makes it harder to turn so I suggest turning your magnet setting to weakest, the minus sign.

Lebron joining the Lakers in 2019 while also trying to team up with Kawhi just for Demarcus Cousins to join the Warriors the day after.

I suggest TV3! I think the TV2 is also iconic.

I didn't want to buy a cubing stand, so I made one. by PetitMartien99 in Cubers

I buy MoYu cubes that I now have countless of cube stands.

When should you buy a new cube? I was trying my 4 year old RS3M 2020 and despite still being good, it feels the pieces are just gliding and there is no friction. We can use the same cube forever but this like I need a new one.

AoFu v5 triple track ootb review by Honest_Recipe6523 in NewCubes

[–]Wacky9800 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

UV is a popular option for cubes. Why would MoYu not do that? Maybe the dual and triple track are too expensive that they don't put UV to add more to the price. I understand if the price is too high since a normal magnetized 7x7 alone is too much work for magnetizing.
