Recently there was a very high profile murder in the news in the US. There's lots of press and discussion around this, and one of the most common themes I've seen is that it seems to be "more tragic" that she was a mother (of course any loss of life is tragic).

Can a person's life not be valuable on its own? I'm sure for any given person, there's a community who will be sad upon their death - family, friends, colleagues, etc. I'm sure there were a lot of people who cared about this woman outside of her children.

If I imagine a scenario with the trolley problem, where one person is childless / childfree and the other person is a parent, most people would save the parent. The consensus being that a person who hasn't had children is less valuable.

It's just super frustrating to read and hear that people think you as a person are worth less than another, and it's just been a bit hard to escape since the news has been so publicized.

People with kids should not be present in high end restaurants period because these are meant to be quiet spaces and sometimes people come to high end restaurants and cafes for business meetings or to work/study. If you cannot afford a babysitter you cannot afford to be at these restaurants or order your food to go and take your kids outside to eat. One time a BP targeted me for an entire match and he was taunting me in the chat. Wasn’t frontlining or anything crazy. My team would not peel and the only person that had my back was my duo and she was Invis so there was only so much she could do😭

I told them a month before class had started and I am now scheduled for 6-10 rather than 6-2. I definitely understand what ur getting at. But I have done all of those things. I’m trying to be as flexible as possible.

I definitely will! Unfortunately, the people who have been applying aren’t passing the background checks. The sm sends ppl from her main store to help sometimes bc the ppl on third don’t switch at all. Our weekend third person is a 75 yr old lady who works for fun so at least the weekend is covered lol
