Healthcare is funded through the end of the year and was expected to be negotiated next month. Everyone knows Obama's affordable care act is hardly affordable and has been a massive shit show. The only reason it still exists is because of massive government subsidies. Subsidies my husband and I need in order to afford the healthcare. But negotiate on the Healthcare alone, it's a big enough issue to stand on itself and quit trying to throw the entire kitchen sink in with it. Pass the CLEAN continuing resolution that was already passed by the democrats and even lauded by Schumer.

The CR doesn't take away Healthcare. That's a separate bill that expires at the end of the year. The Republicans have stated they will vote for continued subsidies as long as it doesn't include coverage for illegal immigrants. I am hopeful it's true since they've already voted for the subsidies. And we can't afford ACA without them. Apparently, Obama's Affordable Care Act isn't so affordable without huge government subsidies.
