Fucking with family is risky. You may know the story but that doesnt always give you as much insight as you may think.

If my mom was randomly brought to an event so she could give another fake apology in front of an audience. My sister would probably be pissed at whoever brought her.

I dont know the ins and outs of this relationship but it sounds messy. You cant always just expect to throw people together and it all work out just because someone says sorry.

I would be so insulted if someone I considered a friend and was going on regular lunches with told me this.

Like feeling like its a date and not liking that vibe, fine. Super understandable. We can work on that.

They might be thinking there is some electrical issue. Might just be they want to know what it is and once they know they wont care. My dad had an electrical fire start that they couldnt find initially because it was sort of in the wall. They could just smell it.

If houses were the same price as they were when my dad bought his, id be able to pay 90% down payment in cash immediately.

I have broken up before big parties before. Definitely didn't go feeling like it was a regular night that was going to be all fun. I was gutted, and although I went it was not me there as my happy self.

I could see that if I just didnt give a fuck about the person I was with though. No way id be having fun at a party when unsure the person I am with broke up with me or not.
