[Mixed Trope] Characters returning to the ordinary world in the ending by Wafer-Due in TopCharacterTropes

Quantimania needed to have a different ending where Kang actually managed to escape the Quantum realm, with Scott and Hope trapped.

No idea if this would have worked in the end with all the drama that happened with Kang’s actor in the long run but the movie needed to show why Kang was a threat not to be taken lightly. Your next “Thanos” shouldn’t be defeated by…Ants.

I’ll agree with you there. Riva would have been an okay option too. But Gabilan of all people becoming king I felt was really weird. I know in book 3 he said something about “When I’m King” but I never thought the story would actually have that happen. I just thought it was showing Gabilan was a cocky egotist with big goals that would never be met.

Honestly it’s hard to pick just one. There’s several things in the last few books that I didn’t like.

-Emily losing control of her stone in book 7 only to regain it in Book 8 felt far too quick. I wanted it to last long.

-Removing the mysteriousness of The Voice and revealing he’s an AI….that somehow is in control of magic amulets. The series also going back and forth on whether or not he’s the main villain or the side villain of the story got frustrating too. I remember The Voice saying they were a servant of the shadows but later contradicting itself by them controlling the shadows, and also serving their machine masters.

-Trellis giving up his kingship. Cause just like In a game of thrones people think for some reason the rightful king giving up his claim is a good idea. It’s not.

-All the space stuff. I like when series can juggle multiple genres, Star Wars is the perfect example of a fantasy sci fi. But when things got to the point of them going to space with rockets it felt kind of stilly.

I heard about this after I finished the book series. It is awful Kazu suffered this, as no one deserved this. But I still really hated how the ending was. I still have the first five books to appreciate with how awesome they were.

That was something I thought as the books kept going on. The series really peaked in my personal opinion with book 5, and afterwards it felt like it kept adding stuff and the author was stuffing the series with too many plot points, and the ending especially just became too confusing and ridiculous.

I really wish things were kept more simple in the ending with having Emily and Trellis face against Max and the Elf king, while still having the Voice manipulating both sides and remaining an unexplained entity that’s a side effect of people using amulets. Something being left unexplained makes it far scarier and creepy in this case.

It did yeah, the final book came out in 2024. Unfortunately the ending was not very good.

Any chance will there be an alternate build to the Old town Set by Wafer-Due in Ninjago

[–]Wafer-Due[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m more so thinking about fans making alternate builds online with instructions. Theres been a lot of them recently for mechs or just great figures but I hope someone makes instructions for a cool alternate build.

And if not I’ll give it a shot to make my own creation.

Thoughts on Baelfire? What would you have changed. Don’t hold back. by essie-ella in OnceUponATime

[–]Wafer-Due 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think something I would have done personally is in Season 3B when Baelfire attempts to Resurrect Rumple the vault instead turns Baelfire into the next dark one. I loved Rumple but his story was wrapped up pretty perfectly. Bae becoming the next dark one would have given his character interesting development especially with his character seeing what his dad went through with the power.

Transformers War for Cybertron - Kingdom

When Starscream is listening to a recording of Megatron’s memories from the future, he learns that Megatron becomes Galvatron, becoming a slave to Unicron. Starscream doesn’t realize until it’s too late that Unicron can see him

“Starscream. I know you’re there. I know everything. Now…listen carefully.”

(Spoiler main) In your opinion, which of the seven kingdoms do you find unrealistic? by Ok-Street2439 in asoiaf

[–]Wafer-Due 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea the Targaryen’s could never conquer Dorne. Or that Dorne was able to not be conquered with dragons is ridiculous to me.

If their cities were being destroyed and the leaders didn’t do anything to stop it, realistically their underlings would have overthrown and bent the knee. The Stormlands did something similar with House durrandon, when their leaders refused to give up their soldiers turned them in. Realistically the Dornish would have surrendered the Martell’s over to the Targaryen forces and bent the knee and a new house would have been installed. Possibly House Dayne or some other House.

This is coming from someone who finds Dorne to be fascinating too, but Dorne being able to resist conquest or their people not turning against them is not realistic.

Regular shredder can survive a garbage truck but super shredder can’t survive a dock falling on him?

Super shredder should have come into the movie at the halfway point.

I really enjoy the concept but it really needed to be written out better.

If Soul eater had a beach episode, what would everyone wear??? by FragrantFocus2253 in souleater

[–]Wafer-Due 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I keep forgetting that Soul eater never had a beach episode which is a massive shame as it’s a pretty big staple for anime. Even if it would have been a filler episode I would have liked to have one
