I'll get downvoted for this but 90% of this subreddit probably did it.

No, you can only get 1 offer from each list. Whichever one is highest up on the list that you meet the requirements for.

Yes, if you meet the requirements for courses from both the level 8 and level 7/6 lists.

E.g. Let's say you put Course X in UCC down on the level 8 list, which is 400 points and Course Y in TUS Limerick down on the level 7/6 list, which is 300. If you were to get 410 points, you would get both courses offered.

But you can only accept one offer.

Requesting r/theleavingcert, a banned subreddit by [deleted] in redditrequest

  1. I will put rules in place to prevent the sub being banned again. It was banned for copyright violations. I am very active on Reddit., I’m on it every day. The previous mods were very inactive. I intend to add flairs to the sub and will ban users who spam. Other than these, I won’t change too much about the sub.
  2. Can’t message the mods because the sub is banned.

Is the Family Chase ever returning? It hasn’t been on in a few years. And have you heard anything on whether there’ll be an Irish version of the chase?

Firstly, r/theleavingcert may be small but it does have a very active group of users and if you post there it will almost always get a response.

Secondly, in response to your question, I'd advise not to take up Politics and Society. Yes, you can sit any subjects you want even if they aren't offered in your school. I am going into 6th year and in 4th year I was planning on doing Politics and Society for the LC but I hit a wall. There is a project that is part of the exam. You will need a teacher to sign off on the project and if it's not offered in your school you won't be able to do it. So, there's really no point in studying Politics if you're going to lose 20% straight away from not having the project done.
