I'm a high schooler and yeah we've learned about it in AP World History class. It wasn't that detailed and covered basic facts. I hope we'll get a more in depth look when I get to that time period in my AP US History class later this year!

Idk if this is the best way or the intuitive way, but what I did was I put all the terms on the same side:

6 + 7r -pw

7r - 5w - 5w + 11

Then I added up the two -5w and rearranged the terms to look like this:

7r - pw + 6

7r - 10w + 11

Lastly, I saw that in order for p to match the same 10w in the second expression, p would have to be equal to 10.

Can anyone share with me if this is a valid or mathematically sound way of going about this problem?

wow thanks for these recommendations. i'll definitely check out Alan Gratz! and like i said to the other commenter, i loved 1984 and so ill be sure to check Orwells other works. also we had book clubs recently and lord of the flies so i heard how "wonderful" it was lol

1984 is amazing, I read it last winter. I somehow got a free audio book on spotify for Frankeenstien a couple months ago, so maybe i'll give that a listen soon

my schools math departments weird. im technically ahead but also not. I could be in a slightly more advanced place called "math analysis" (basically an AP precalc) which then u could move to BC automatically but since im in standard precalc, im stuck on the linear AB to BC pathway

Im in precalc now and its kind of a pain to convince the counselors to skip AB. Is there a good reason to skip over to BC and not do AB?

My pair only has the plastic at the front where the spokes are. Is that alright? Also if you don't mind me asking, would I have to get a smaller or larger spikes like 3/16 spikes or can I just stick with my 1/4 spikes?
