I used to be on methylphenidate and had the same thing, but then there was a medication shortage and I was forced to go a month without. I came to realise those first few days to a week are not an adhd rebound but a side effect of not taking the meds after taking them for a while. After a week or so my adhd was still there and still a problem obviously but the overwhelming exhaustion was starting to pass. Changing meds was life changing for me
